Wow!!!! congrats and thanks for the encouragement words for all the people who have not take the NCLEX yet. yes, it is a crazy test for sure. I also used Mrs ELISABETH HELEN review material's. - I studied for 1 week and my test shut off at question 85. I cried too when I got my results. PASS
Thanks to my friend that introduce me to her last week. Am happy the way she process her materials and how you will prepare yourself too for your coming exams. Even with the New update That’s coming up soon, She gave me me a clue of how the exam might come up for me and how I need to study Incase I schedule my test any time.
After using uworld twice and failing, I never knew i could ever pass the NCLEX but today I am very happy, I just passed my NCLEX on my third attempt with a great help from Miss ELISABETH HELEN.❤️❤️❤️

A tip on papers from an RN because I struggled a bit too:
1. I would look up all my sources that answer the question prompt/topic, and create my works cited first (if I didn't use a source I would delete it)
2. I would brainstorm 3 reasons/examples that answer the prompt and list them.
3. I would start my writing by catering my writing to my sources and my reasons/examples
I found if I just started writing, I would get in a flow. Hope it helps.
My BSN classes have been SO much more enjoyable than nursing school, but that said nursing school made me a much better student with better study habits
I’m doing 1 BSN class every 8 weeks. It keeps me busy. I’m also a mom & work full time! I don’t want to overwhelm myself. Congratulations on your new job! Can’t wait to follow along ❤

Your hope and aspiration will be with me throughout my first semester of nursing school in a few months. I would love to see how your new job is coming along. I have been following your journey for about a year now and was so excited to see you get your job at the hospital! But I know how the toll of hospital life can take on you. I am at Ohio Unversity taking my BSN classes online! It isn’t bad at all. Evidence based practice is a little challenging but you will get through it! I have my last class coming up in August!! Let me know if you need anything girl.❤

You are going to do great! Just stay organized and push yourself. I got my ADN in May of 2022 and in August of 2022 I started the RN-BSN program through Bowling Green State University and it is time consuming. We have papers due every other week it seems like as well as discussion posts and responding to classmates as well.

I'm so excited to be following your BSN journey- there aren't too many videos of people who vlog about nursing school once they pass their NCLEX, but i'm interested to follow your fully online BSN journey, as well as your journey as a school nurse!! I am a Medical Assistant, so I've always been kind of interested in what it would be like to work at a school under a school nurse. Ugh I dreaded my BSN program 🫢primarily because I started it right after my ADN & with the stress of starting orientation as a nurse, it just wasn’t my priority . I found it tedious and boring most of the time. I took one class at a time because I just wasn’t that interested but I got it done and that relief was so good! Now what’s next, idk but I say all this to say, you got this, and don’t stress it too much, just post on time lol. Lmk if I’m the only one who enjoyed nursing school more? 😩

Hey love! I’m excited to watch the next part of your nursing journey. You are going to be such an amazing school nurse! Those kids are sO lucky! I wish yOu all the luck with your online classes. I took two online classing during my prerequisite and it wasn’t hard. It was mostly a lot of “busy” work. I loved not having to commute to school but I had to write a paper a week and then I had to do a research paper at the end. Mine was in APA format too. Make sure to ask your professor if they want the abstract at the beginning. Mine didn’t even want it. I wish I could jump through my phone and help you but yOu got this❤.

I also attend OU, I’ve done about five classes so far. It’s not bad at all. Just a lot of busy work. You’ll like it. I should’ve been graduating in December but personal circumstances are preventing me from continuing at the moment (I pay out of pocket 😂and I also have five kiddos!) but, it’s not bad I have a 3.8! Good luck this semester!

Hey Madi! So excited I caught this video with an hour of it going up. For some reason I don’t get my alerts that you have a new video and I should. I don’t know why I don’t get the alerts maybe it’s because I don’t check my email enough. Don’t stress out you really need To take a beat. You are already a nurse you do your BSN in your own time at your own speed. Remember enjoy every day take it at your own pace life is short enjoy each day. Nothing is more important than taking care of yourself both physically and mentally you know as I’m physically challenged I know what I’m talking about. I try to comment quickly when I see your new videos come up so hopefully your comment/reply back. I thought all school nurses must get a BSN in all the states. Is it different depending on a state? Massachusetts requires BSN and at least 2 year experience to become a school nurse.

If you print these out in color and laminate them back-to-back, they will be your bible. Make some notes (I.e. citations) before you return the book. We had to use them throughout the whole program.
Regarding your BSN classes, take it one day at a time. It helped me to work ahead, that way I didn’t feel so overwhelmed. Like you said- we got through nursing school; we are unstoppable! Lol

Is it better to have a BSN to be a nurse?
It is becoming a requirement if you want to work at magnet hospitals and / or advance in your specialty. Also, most hospitals require their ADN nurses to obtain their Bachelor’s degree. BSN’s get paid more.
why are you going back to get your bsn is there a difference in pay?

No pay difference! Just want to get it so I am able to teach nursing school lab and clinical:)
