They didn't implement the story prologue scene with raiden and shinnok in this video for some reason. you guys needed to react to it!
The jump in graphics, animation, and the writing for both the story and dialogues, is very noticeable.

There is the mortal Kombat 11 aftermath cutscenes just in case you weren't aware of that. It could be a addition to the mk series and it even gives more insight to what happened between the events of mk 11 and the new upcoming mk
The next thing I recommend after finishing the story, is the list of fatalities, brutalities and friendships. some of the ones in 11 are pretty good. I'm not sure if you're factoring this in the cut scenes, but there are some really entertaining special character interactions.

Hell yeah, I definitely agree. Then maybe revisit the original story from the older games eventually.
They shouldn't react to those. It would be pointless with how they blur out small things from little fights in the storyline. They definitely won't show anything from the x-rays, brutalities and especially the fatalities. Our reaction to their reaction won't be genuine at all because we won't get to see anything.

I can w/o a doubt that this is most enjoyable series of CZcams reactions I have watched in recent memory. I grew playing these games and reading up on the characters' lore and backstory. It is so awesome so see both of your 1st time reactions to my favorite fighting game series.

Now, got to remember that there is also the Aftermath story mode. And from what I hear (haven’t watched the video yet), you seem to have missed out on watching MK11’s introduction sequence between Dark Raiden and Shinnok. But that’s because you watched the story mode through the version of Ultimate instead of the original. You missed out, not on something crucial, but very exciting, and shows you just how fearless Raiden has really become, until his sudden perish

Great reaction guys!! Also if you guys want to react to more MK before MK 1, there's Mortal Kombat 4, MK Deadly Alliance, MK Deception and MK Armageddon's intros that are cinematic from the older timeline that are fun. You also have MK Rebirth a short on here, and the MK Legacy series 2 seasons of that. There's MK Conquest which was a 90's series after the first two movies that wasn't bad considering it had a lower budget. I'm assuming you guys saw the live films already but I highly recommend the MK Legends movies, they're all good especially Scorpion's Revenge and Snowblind. And later this year they're coming out with another called MK Legends:Cage Match about Johnny.

The shenanigans have began! I like this MK11. Despite some reconning some characters stories, and confusing terminology changes,I like how they were able to still able to make a decent story out of it. However, the aftermath story is amazing! 🙏🏽💪

The story is an absolute love letter to ALL of the MK games that came before it. I remember watching it the first time like I was watching an Avengers movie. Also I NEED to see them to react to the Fatalities, Brutalities and X-Rays of the past 3 games!
After they finish MK I want them to watch Horizon: Zero Dawn! It’s both one of the greatest games ever made AND has one of the greatest and most original sci-fi stories ever made!

Im sure somebody said it already but Frost is actually in a previous Mortal Kombat game (Deadly Alliance 2002 #5) she was kinda similar in attitude back then but still interesting she also had moments in the MKX komiks and that kameo in the game shes actually still interesting in the series imo
I recommend watching the animated movies like Scorpion Revenge and Snowblind. They are very good and for the second film King Kano is the best version of him🔥
Working my way through all my MK games and timing on a lot of traps was tougher than I remembered especially when getting collectibles and coins.

Reacting to video games cutscenes/movies like this should be a series. A lot of good materials. Like you can react to The Quarry for example
It is getting better and better. But as for a sugestion - you could try to watch the storyline of Mortal Kombat vs. DC, it would be few steps back, because that is the game where they start experimenting with this style of storytelling. But maybe you could have fun with it :)
There are the animated Mortal Kombat Legends Movies, and the first and the third are actually a fun watch!

I would suggest reacting to the animated Mortal Kombat movies - they are really good (better than the live action one) and they are focused on the lore. There are currently three of them, in this order:
Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge
Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms
Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind
A fourth one, entitled 'Cage Match' is coming out later this year.
