This bike was my second purchase from Kaplan Cycles! It enjoys the warm Southern California climate these days. It gets a lot of attention everywhere it goes! Have put over 600 miles on it since it arrived, no problems! Thanks Kaplan Cycles!
Congrats on the awesome bike.
I have this exact motorcycle, I'm rebuilding the motor in it. Can't wait to get it running!
Can't go wrong with an old Honda CB. Very reliable old bikes. Fun to ride. Easy to work on, even for someone like me who recently got into bikes and knew nothing about them. I have a 75 CB750 that I love.
This was my first bike. Boy, does this bring back a lot of memories.
I've owned 2, the second one being my first bike once I got my license. The one in the video looks gorgeous, and well maintained!😍
Bought one brand new 1977 November, in the UK. It rained for a month after I got it. Loved it, would do the ton 2 up , could ground the footpegs on roundabouts, always cursing myself for selling it back cheap to dealer in 79 when I moved to Canada, instead of taking it with me. Was used for year round, all weather transport, could handle everything from snow to shine. Great bike!
👍🛣 a no excuses classic 🛸🌌 in 1985 I rode one exactly like it from Seattle to L.A. California it had the back tire blow out on I-5 freeway in Portland oregon. My Panasonic portable radio's are from Japan also they take 8' D size batteries.& play cassettes. There was snow and snowing on the grapevine pass, the police let us ride down but said I was crazy 😂.
Nice bike we got a 74 cb550 four and made it into a cafe, things so much fun. So close to getting a title to .I wish I could ride it to your shop but I’m in Texas
Once the carbs are synched, these bikes are great.
After carbs are synced..how often should you sync after that?
Mine was a little older than that one back in the day. Strong running and smooth.
thumbs up
Man all that snow makes me sad so far so go in NJ won't last long tho.
Mine" was exactly like this two exhaust each side loud because Shawn Montee Torched the baffles out or he used a hammer and chisel they" really have neat sound like that.
My first and only bike was identical to the one in the video. I rode it for 3 years and enjoyed every minute, purchased it in 1982 for I think it was around 1200 $ sold it to a co-worker for 3oo$ . I'm almost 79 years old and I joke around with the wife about getting another bike, is it too late?
I’ll let my wife know about my new investment she’s an accountant lol
Nice
How much did you get for it Kap!
Is this bike still for sale?
What's the price?
The only problem with purchasing it as investment in your pension is that once you bring it in you can never ride it. That is a rule the IRS has. If the pension owned it and you took it for a ride you would disqualify the plan. It would need to be a pure investment stored and never touched.
