thanks to / llaauuddrruupp for hours of footage.

Before Zidane popularized Le Roulette, before Iniesta popularized La Croqueta and before Ronaldinho popularized the non-look pass, Michael Laudrup was doing all those tricks.
All in the same match.
Amen excelent bro excelent answer ..Bless laudrup was a genius and influencer
🔥🔥👽
I was just about to write that, but then i saw your comment. He did all those things, before the guys who`s been credited with that. It`s a disgrace, that he never won The Ballon D`or, or at least The Best European Player Award. Pep Guardiola said : " The Ballon D`or means nothing........Cause Michael Laudrup never won it "........that`s a beautiful quote.
Exallty..era un mix perfetto.tra Cruijff, Zidane e Iniesta.
Laudrup è stato il primo ad inventare la rouletta russa.
my dad said Laudrup was out of this world. I just didn't realise he was this good. i could watch him all day long. so much elegance
In my opinion: best player ever. I Love Laudrup: perfect player, pure magic.
He was indeed perfect
MegaGoodoldtimes He was!!
Best playmaker ever.
3:58 will never get old.
The player from whom I've learnt to fully apreciate the art of playmaking. Brilliant, intelligent, wonderfully skilled (though underrated as he was just objective, no move was wasted) and, overall, unselfish. A true GENIUS! Sadly, barely recall his plays for Barcelona, mostly Denmark and Real Madrid. Because of him, later another player who resembled much of him became my idol, Rui Costa. Great upload, Excellent title.
Respect to Laudrup. From a portuguese (and Benfica) fan
Nothing is as beautiful, elegant and pure as the ball at Michael Laudrups feet...
Michael Laudrup is the most underrated player ever in my opinion. Why? Because to me even though he never won the World Cup he should definitely be regarded as one of the all time greats and yet so few people remember him or even consider him to be just that. I mean come on this video refers his playing style as being of another dimension.
Laudrup, Van Basten, Baresi... 90's were simply fantastic!
When it comes to vision, passing and pure talent no one comes close to Laudrup

Mata Naga
Are you crazy?
Quinceps no im not.
Mata Naga
Then you haven't watched enough soccer or you probably don't understand it.
Quinceps nah.. i just disagree with your 1st statement.
Monster player, I bet other great playmakers like Zidane and Riquelme watched and admire him also,
he is one of the best footballer on earth ,he is underrated because of media, danish footballers are very skillful but they are underrated..
2:22 When Johan Cruyff and Hristo Stoichkov share a look that says "Holy shit, did you see what Michael did?" you know you're watching someone special.
3:58 is just brutal. Upvote if you saw it more than once 😂
3:56 same thing. So clean and perfectly done.
The opponent after: OMG did I really fell for that???????
look up in the skye
vision 99
passing 99
brilliance 1000
Forever underrated. Forever missed. The danish national team just isn't what it was with the Laudrup brothers, Schmeichel and all the others.
Seb - thank you for one of the best football compilation on youtube.
very beautiful watching him playing the ball.
he's genius and so stylish.
You'll never find this sublime football made so effortless anywhere else
he deserve to be one of the greatest...amazing and unbelievable passing and dribbling as well as R9,Messi..
The Brazilian Ronaldo and Michael Laudrup are my two favorite players ever, I think Baggio would come third on my list
I started watching soccer at a very late age so I miss the times when laudrup was playing actively. my all time fav was baggio until someone told me of laudrup & I went to catch his vids. immediately he shot straight up to being my favorite. the magic of laudrup
3:38 - the very definition of football elegance. :)
Damn. This guy must have been a pure joy to watch. Oozing class!
You are sooo right! Laudrup is the best player I've ever seen! He was my idol, and he still is :)
Very very good
Romario and Laudrup were really nice!
My favourite quote on Laudrup is from Cruyff (After Real Madrid with Laudrup had won 5-0 over Cruyff's Barcelona): "When Michael plays like a dream, a magic illusion, determined to show his new team his extreme abilities, no one in the world comes anywhere near his level"
This is from a man who had a lot of issues with Michael who had left him the season before.
the best number 10 ( central attacking midfielder) of the 90's
09thespecialone
I think Baggio was better in that particular role just in front of the midfield but behind the striker/strikers... I think Laudrup was better as a true midfielder, in particular the left side of midfield... not on the wing though... ideally on the left of a diamond midfield.
Underrated player
best of the 90s
A superb video of one of the true greats. Incredible natural talent, right up there with the best players of all time.
Where Iniesta learnt all his tricks
Johnny Jawbone He adimitted it.Michael Laudrup was his idol and he thinks he was the best player ever.He took a lot of things from Laudrup's game.Especially the signature dribble ''la croqueta''.I think Iniesta is today's Laudrup but Laudrup's passing ability was similar to Xavi's and even better in my opinion. He is a true football legend.
+Sebastian Tannæs Brian Laudrup was better at passing? Seriously? Brian was an amazing player but never had the vision and passing ability of his brother
+Sebastian Tannæs He did play for Bayern Munich one of the biggest clubs in Europe. I'm not arguing that his skills were not as good as Michael's. His dribbling, especially at pace was perhaps better than his brother's. But the vision Michael possesed was second to none.
amen
He is so underrated, why isn't he given the credit he deserves?
1992NL it takes a smart person to see the genius behind his passes and dribbles
because he is danish not english
politic Even Stoichov was given better ranks. (not that he was bad)
Incredible. Simply brilliant.
best midfielder of all time
even without goals he was a a game changer
this is evident from his switch from barca to real-one of the strangest transfers in history of football
goal dont matter because he used to have 19 assists a season playing from the same left midfield position as iniesta and zidan, no body ever had 19 assists a season playing that deep, ronaldinho never had 19 assists in a season, this guy used to make average strikers into stars
guzonjinsin88 I think at Real Madrid it was a pure number 10, in the middle of the field just behind the 2 strikers (Zamorano and Raul) with Fernando Redondo just in front of the defense.
I am from Denmark, when Laudrup was at his greatest I was like two years old. So I have never really seen him play. If he really were that good as on this video. Then wow, he might have been one of the greatest players of all time. I have never seen passing skills like that. It makes Pirlo look like a freaking kindergarten boy.
yes, no tricks here. he didn`t play for tv, he play real football. he was the best midfielder.
3:44 the purest croqueta i've ever seen. Perfectly elegant
i can't stop watching this. Laudrup never gets mentioned when people talk about the greatest player he definitely gets a mention from me !
proud to be from Denmark .. Laudrup you are the best! from Denmark!
sureeeeeeeeeeeee the best Michael Laudrup compilation in existence. best regargs from brazil, thanks a lot
I am just stunned. I knew he was a legend and also denmark's best player ever, but I didn't know he was THIS good. As said, I am just stunned. I can't find my words to describe this footballplayer. To incredibly perfect to be true.
/ Sweden, Gothenburg.
SIMPLEMENTE ESPECTACULAR!!!
I feel sorry for the guy at 3:58 :D
the best player all the time.i miss his play and miss see him playing.awesome!!!
Michael Laudrup is simply one of a kind. You can't compare his talents with any other player. He might be the most complete offensive footballplayer of all time.
His brother Brian had about half of Michael's talent and was still a top European player. Many thx Sebfootball!
One of the most beautiful things ever to be seen by mankind.
the passes there. oh my bloody goodness gracious me. He made them look effortless.
It's hard to mention many players that had the eyes like Laudrup. I remember all those passes from the video. He knew where every single player was. Constantly.
Before Zidane popularized Le Roulette, before Iniesta popularized La Croqueta and before Ronaldinho popularized the no-look pass, Michael Laudrup regulary used all those tricks.
Romário: "The best player I have ever played with and the 5th best in the history of the game.
Cruyff: "One of the most difficult players I have worked with. When he gives 80-90% he is still by far the best, but I want 100%, and he rarely does that
Bakero: "No one has given the club [Barcelona] as much inspiration as Michael. We all look up to him. It is a privilege to have your day enriched by a genius
This guy was a serious baller. Incredible vision and technique
Love him at Swansea, perfect match!
From a life long Arsenal fan :)
best set-up player in the world. no one made passes like him.
One of the best players ever. His playing style doesn't quite show the fact that he was incredibly fast.
he was amazing
what a class, the elegance of his moves, he was a true gentleman with a ball, that's what football is about
it's like classical music for football, it's just beautiful and elegant to see him playing
one word.... sublime.
i have just tears of happiness watching 2:05-3:30 ...so MAGIC !!!
Vision of Eagle, Master of La Croqueta, Dribbler King + Ozil + Iniesta= Laudrup
For me, one of the best in history behind Maradona and Riquelme
About 15 years ago canal+ Spain launched a poll to know who was the favorite football player for the spanish children. Surprise came when the favorite with a large advantage of votes was no best scorer or famous striker, but Michael Laudrup. Today that generation of kids are world champions.
Thank you Michael Laudrup, the inspiration, the ideal to reach, the perfect player :-)
Thanks for posting this great vid!
Great vid... thanks for the upload 👍
Forever underrated, that's what Laudrup will be. I just don't see a player like him to have ever walked on earth.
Maradona vs England 86'? pff, Michael has half-a-dozen of those, let alone the uncomparable pitch vision.
and congrats, sebastian, wonderful movie.
Thank you for a wonderful video. And thanks to Michael Laudrup for showing us some of the best football ever through the 80's and 90's.
Some liverpool fans (idiots) tries to compare him to world unknown j.Barnes even call Barnes superiour to Laudrup (I thought my jokes are bad). Zidan uses "made in Laudrup" move, Iniesta uses "foot to foot shift" that laudrup invented, Ronaldinho uses "look other way and pass" that Laudrup invented also. Like Great Pep Guardiola said "The Ballon D'or is worth nothing! because Michael Laudrup never won it!" do you believe Pep Guardiola said that even Magician Messi won that, unbelievable.
That's the same case with Roma fans who say that Totti is better than Laudrup. Totti was an amazing player but Laudrup was on a much higher level, Laudrup is one of the best players of all time
I don't know Barnes is but I think he is a.k.a Heskey. WE DON'T KNOW HIM!
I 100% agre.
QUALITY, CLASS PLAYER
Respect from Peru
wow...straight to favorites...
this was bloody amazin'
really the best player ever! the art of dribbling and control
Amazing. fave player ever
An absolute football GENIUS!
My favourite player ever. The best I've ever seen. Beetter than Cruyff and Maradona, Pele's not even close, he's just a formidable striker, Laudrup is way better than that. Nobody understands the game that good and can play so clean, He's like Zidane, but faster and clever, and a great, excellent team-player. Makes any team play at his best. Just my opinion. Michael Laudrup, the best. Thanks for all of that magic.
Actually it was Raul who said "Michael is the best I've ever played with" ;)
Best player ever to set foot on mother earth. I'm speechless.
He's a combination of Ronaldinho, Messi, Ronaldo, Zlatan, Eto'o, Lampard, Berbatov , Beckham, Pirlo and Kaká. Name anybody.
It's just that... even though he's a combination of those players, he's still unique. I don't know how the hell to explain that, but that's just Laudrup for you all, you can't explain how great he was.
And the fact that he did this 20 years earlier than all players nowadays, is just astonishing.
Best ever.
This is the absolutely brilliant. Thx to laauuudruuuup for providing all the material. And thx to Sebfootball for picking out the best parts. 8-)
Did things his own way and hence they coined the phrase "Made in Laudrup".
Great Video seb. What a blast from the past! He came from a time when the Northern European footballers were keeping up with the South Americans for skill imo.
this guy has magic!
Wow thanks for posting that. I'd heard he was good but man he was special. Thanks again.
Nice video. Great skills!
Every single pass is brilliant.
All the goals in the end were goal of the year material ... Wow. He scored a lot of beauties aye !?
Amazing video, showcases Laudrups style. I've yet to see a player with better flow than ML. Yes, it might not be at the same level as football today, but he still stands as one of the best players, ever.
He's like Messi, Iniesta and Xavi in one player.
When I see Iniesta play, I can't help but think back at Michael, cause even though he's not as good, there's no doubt about where he got his inspiration.
I met ML once, while he was coach in my hometown (Brøndby).
Never been that starstruck.
@vomming i agree, there is lots of great goals on youtube, skills etc etc. But when you watch greatness like what Laudrup shows here, it wins hands down. A very special player. He was voted best foreign player of last 25yrs in La liga in 1999 . Pure Class...
fantastic player!
Denmark are the freaking best in Scandinavia when it comes to producing world class footballers blessed with superior technical skills and awareness... Sweden, Norway and the rest don't even come close.
Sweden did make Zlatan though. And their 90's national team was pretty good I'd have to say (WC 96 for instance). So yeah as I Dane I do have to recognize Sweden's players throughout history too. Norway is another story. Not that many great ballers from there.
One of the all-time greats, lazer-like passes...
thank you
pele anni60 cruijff anni70 maradona anni80 laudrup anni90...i veri fuoriclasse nella storia dell'calcio mondiale@complimenti..
Crowned as the best foreign footballer in Spain in 25 years, ahead of Maradona and other notables. Think it's safe to say he got his recognition...... Despite not winning the ballon d'or..
Massively underrated. Probably just because he was from a smaller country than most of the other greats.
great video
Un lindo homenaje a un caballero dentro y fuera del campo,un figura!!! muy buen trabajo el video,Felicitaciones.
The amazing thing is that when Michael Laudrup played in Barca they won 4 la liga titles, and after a hard time with Cruyff, he was bought by Real Madrid, and won the 5th title in 5 years.! Amazing, hard to imagine!!
He was absolutley the best technical player ever walked the earth. And thats not a overrated conclusion.
I personally miss this kind of football these days.
he was sick
It indeed was his trademark move, also coined the Laudrup dribble by for example Cruyff. But, he most often used very gentle touches on the ball to trick the opponent. This is seen in the solo goal against Urugay which is the last goal of this video. Many other examples are seen in the other Laudrup videos on youtube.
Great video! :)
melhor jogador de sempre ponto!!!
He was a fabulous player but I remember him for being a true gentleman.
unique players come and go but very few had the class M.Laudrup did.
Prime example when he joined Madrid from Barca and scored an insane goal but didnt celebrate out of respect for his old team and their fans..thats class!
Art in motion, enough said!
Michael Laudrup was the world's best football player. and he came from little Denmark, he is my idol and I hope that is just like him.
I love you Michael Laudrup ......
