Sounds like it’s time to redo the budget 500 class shootout 😎

Pretty impressed, I am a Yamaha guy, but this might warrant a serious look for my next Quad. Just need to see that it takes a Snowplow. I’m personally not worried about lots of amenities. I a more worried about build quality and total power train quality. This has to compete with Yamaha. If it does I will have one.

I have a 500 xrt, deal came with plow, heated grips for the driver, windshield and 3000lb warn winch. pushes the plow fine up here in North Bay.

Ironically, you can't get these ATV's at any of the Argo dealers around Nova Scotia. So much for the dealer network you mentioned. I contacted Argo and told them nobody around here seems to carry their ATV's and they referred me back to the dealers that don't carry them. Duh! Very disappointed.

I bought a 2001 Arctic Cat 300 4x4 with plow for serious long steep driveway. Mine only 300 but had hi, low, and super low ranges, still working good, serviced self. Wonder if this would be as reliable, my Arctic Cat has Suzuki motor, bought new , 21 years old

TGB re-branded atv's is not breaking into the market with innovation. If Argo really wants to make a statement then go after the sport quad market and also introduce 2-stroke sport quads and then you will get some attention and turn some heads.

These are not cheaply made for wheelers by any stretch. They’re built very solid I own a 2018 Argo XR 500 and I found absolutely no issues. The ground clearance at 13 inches is legit and this four wheeler will go through anything.

Argo dealer network? What network? In my 51 years I have never seen an Argo dealer. I thought they where a dead novelty company from the 1960's. With that being said, I would not give Argo a serious look, since there are no dealers around so parts availability is likely sketchy at best. Aftermarket parts are likely non existent. I personally wouldn't spend the cash on an Argo, the company name is just not mainstream at all so Ill stick to the Jap brands since they have stayed in the game much longer and have a better network, not to mention the reputation the jap bikes have for reliability. Way to many unknowns to go with a name like Argo. I hilighy doubt it could keep up with and be as dependable as my Kawasaki or any of the Honda or Yamaha bikes I have owned.

So grab a Honda put studded tires and Plow with it and when that thin light weight square tube frame cracks try to get warranty , its crazy how people think that every ATV should do it all. A high Lift will kill a mud hole with paddles but it will not be a good trail rig .A submarine hmm nope , and when some 20s yr old pounds the hell out of a machine and it somehow breaks it a piece of crap LOL . Abuse or use and some maintenance helps.Yrs ago made in Japan was the plague, just you watch China is already setting the table, and Taiwan manufacturing is quicker to adapt and integrate change . A lot of Japanese manufactures are playing catch up or give up .
      just my opinion
