@@jasa159. Let me ask _you_ a question: Why would a person whose profile picture has a ‘j’ on it spend all of their time watching Simpsons clips on CZcams?
When Marge told me she was going to the police academy I thought it would be fun and exciting, like that movie,……Spaceballs! But instead it's been painful and disturbing like that movie Police Academy.
Here's the thing, though: Homer is an idiot. Even if you're not anti-gun, you wouldn't want Homer owning one. As demonstrated in the episode where he got one, and used it very irresponsibly.
I observed this at a very slow speed and it looks like when Marge was on her hands and knees just about to encounter the fence?, the fence went over her at the speed of 1 millionth of a nanosecond. Even I couldn’t make out the speed of the fence shift even WITH the speed of the video slowed down but, she didn’t even move under it, the fence automatically went over HER....if that makes any sense.
Them all laughing and then Wiggum just says Welcome aboard is one of the best jokes they ever did… and then they call back to it again later when Marge says she quits.
This image of them laughing with the pizza in their hands has been burned into my memory since age 3, I don't know why lol. Lots of early childhood memories start with recalling episodes of the simpsons (born in 93)
Even as a part-time cop; they could’ve just had her randomly show up in uniform in response to something and then Homer saying: “I thought that you were at work … oh, right . . . “
2:28 Marge is in full uniform and later when she announces to her family that she's a honorary police officer , says , "they didn't have my size shirt but you get the idea" Even though she was in full uniform earlier.
Yeah, really similar, right down to the cinderblocks, right? Nah, jk, there’s no similarity except running and rope, lol czcams.com/video/8Sx08_OSXlY/video.html
Something isn’t “straight from” a movie just because it has a tiny amount of similarity. The mood isn’t even the same at all, each context is entirely different.
🎶 Bad Boys, Bad Boys! Whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when they come for you! Bad Boys, Bad Boys! Whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when they come for you! 🎶
Homer: You did WHAT?! Bart: I borrowed your nail-clipper, what’s the big deal? Homer: Nothing, I’m just a little edgy since your Mother told me she wanted to to be a cop.
Wow Springfield must have little to no employment standards! A weekend to become a cop, no wonder Marge and Homer had so many jobs throughout the years!
It really doesn't take that long training wise to become a cop here in the good ole USA. 6 months tops in most departments across this country. Compare that to places like the london police department who take 3 years to train their recruits.
"Tsk tsk tsk. You missed the baby, you missed the blind man."
Anonymous I bet that Chief Wiggum never played Hogan’s Alley😂!
One of my favorite lines from this show!
That joke is so quick, so well crafted.

Marge did the driving test so well that a uniform magically appeared on her.

Homer's response to Bart still makes me burst out in laughter after these decades.
The writers loved to troll the audience.
When Marge told me she was going to the police academy I thought it would be fun and exciting, like that movie,……Spaceballs!

She's an amazing shooter considering she was so against Homer getting his own gun
Marcel Zed But she missed the baby and the blind man
Plot twist: She didn't want homer to have the gun because she knows how to *really* use one!
Plot twist: she pocketed Homer's gun at the end of that episode.
She was also against Abe having a gun in Who Shot Mr. Burns
Here's the thing, though: Homer is an idiot.

Yes ignore the fact that it is a fence and not a wall
The animation is so funky you can't even properly see her crawl under the fence lol

I I laughed so hard the first time I saw that scene. It hurt.
"YOU DID WHAT?" "I borrowed your nail clippers."
Bait and switch
I think this episode has some of the best gags of the entire series.
Zootopia looks different from what I remember.
Nice PFP.

0:50 will you bring me along when you do evictions. The social commentary that's been missing for seasons.
NeoGeo12 I don’t really get that one.
I do not get it either
He wants to see people get evicted
HueyNapalm evictions are so much fun. People yelling and screaming, talking about their rights
Or sad and cruelly unfair
Homer: YOU DID WHAT?
Bart: I borrowed your nail clippers
Congratulations, this is the first video I’ve seen published in 2020.
This is one of my fav episodes. There's so much gold in it 😂

No wonder Ned had a tough time stopping Marge from using a broken glass on him.

There are too many cops that you never see again.
Of course they got their guns and left right after the course.

lol that crazy guy is the funniest part
Imagine being the victim of a violent crime and calling the police only to hear “what what WHAT WHAT WHAT? This better be about pizza!”
At that point you should get on your hands and knees and start praying because god knows the police at that point will not do anything
