I'm not a fan of The Simpson's by any means, but if I had a say, then Marge would have stayed a Police Officer, as She's far more interesting this way in my opinion! Everyone else were so unbearable, that it honest to God hurts to watch these moments! People darn near spent all of their time ridiculing and harassing Her and not taking the issues of crime seriously, meanwhile She was actually making a change and ensuing progress be made! Even Marge arresting Homer was a proud moment too! Say what you will about your opinions regarding Homer, but he was clearly going too far by not supporting his Wife's new career choice, but also breaking the law AND not taking Her seriously as an Officer!!! The Women and Men in Blue deserve respect and accolade for always putting their lives on the line and striving to make the world a better place! I'm sorry, but I personally don't consider mocking The Police to be, "comedy."

Cops aren't in the top ten most dangerous jobs in America, they don't put their lives on the line nearly as much as people believe.
