While I may have my own feelings about the intersection of AI into these things, I will admit, the most interesting and perhaps funniest AI thing I've seen around town are those infinite TV show parodies, like the Seinfield one which was quite notorious, or one I recently learned of, infinitely generated Spongebob here on YT actually. Somehow brilliantly mimicking the characters and cadence of the shows at times, and others, just a ridiculous parody. Though, I think you put it nicely, I think the ideal world if this ever becomes anything is that fans garner some more appreciation for the things they love, and while I'm still skeptical to it from just a creation aspect and what it means there, I think if I wanted to be optimistic, I like the sound of empowering fans to a degree, that is something I can swallow more than, taking other people's arts, making money off of it, berating other artists, "fixing" other artists art by running it down the machine, which unfortunately was my introduction to Ai art on the internet. But if someone had told me fans could make funny things with it that were harmless and just showed fandom, hey, I could nod to that

You know, this is probably the first CZcams video made my an anime fan that I’ve seen that doesn’t have the “AI is bad” theme running through it. I think that’s a good thing.
The future is going to be great.
To me, the most exciting parts are probably going to be technologies that relate to the “dissolving of humanity.” Basically, what happens when you blur the line between human and nonhuman, biology and machine, reality and fiction . . . Life and death.
A pile of lies arranged in such a way that it makes the truth much more obvious than any direct statement of the facts.
I want to be a part of it. I know that it won’t be perfect, but even the small tastes of it leave me salivating. I want to help it, to make it, to build the city of 10,000 truths, 10,000 lies, and 10,000 shades of grey.
Who knows, maybe I will. It’s not like I have anything better to do!

Personally, I'm not worried about AGI being alien to us. It will be trained on human thought and probably inherit all of our foibles. I am concerned that human intelligence is a composite illusion, and we are trying to replicate something that never really existed, however.

The unknown future rolls toward us. I face it, for the first time, with a sense of hope. Because if a machine can learn the value of human life, maybe we can too.

i may not share your views but damn, i wish i was hopeful as you. As someone who loves drawing and even recently was able to leave my boring job for it, ive been constantly reminded everything ive know about human creators may change.
I wonder if how you say, fandom will be a thing in the future, with so much media constantly being generated and able to be tailored not only to a fandom or an archetype, but specifically to a person, i wonder if stuff will have the possibility of even raising up to be popular or just everyone will experience their own thing, everything at the same time. It also makes me feel bad for everything thats been created before, i mean, maybe they could recreate something even more taylored to you than the things you already loved already.
Its very hard to grasp for me that humanity will be there just to experience and not to create, i dont even mean only stuff like anime or "art", but just anything, CZcams videos, opinions, friends, inventions. And honestly, i dont care that i earn money of my drawings or not (though i do need to pay the bills), but mostly i care that other people care that someone made what im making, that there is a creator thats human, and i feel that thats how a lot of creators feel too. And some part of me tells me that im just abject to change, but what else should i do? ive been trained all my life to value what humans are and create in some way, an ai world its just something not in my language.
With all of that, ive recently been thinking that society tends to think of advancements as entirely good things, and even if some things are good (like advancements in medicine, technology, etc) we sometimes fail to notice some things that are left behind and that there is never a just a universal good thing. For example how much media is already present nowadays, i revently even had a mini breakdown because i realized i probably wont be able to experience all i want to experience (and heck, im barely and adult, im not even that old), with ai that will be infinitely more stuff you wont be able to experience, but anyways.Problems and silver linings will always be with humanity, but life still goes on, and whatever future i do hope we creating humans can find meaning in it, and as one, i do hope humanity will keep caring about creators too.

I hear you and feel you. As far as the practical concerns, I think there needs to be a pretty large and concerted push for universal basic income once the productivity provided by AI becomes clear.
The second part of your concerns related to whether or not there will be a market for creating, I wouldn't worry about that one bit. The Utopia future is all about pursuing whatever makes you the happiest in this Star Trek post scarcity society kind of way.
Knowing AI exists doesn't make me want to commission artists any less. Understandably though things might be rough in the near term.

as I promised the original text..... GPT did fuck it up x2 .... Fix text keep cynicism and attitude: I'll tell you right now in your second chapter how AI packs with anime it doesn't unfortunately certain groups of individuals have put way too many constraints on specifically GPT for anyone to truly utilize it with the same art form and style that some of the greatest anime artists and writers have for example utena.... Trust me I am a naturally born dyslexic and I was using and still do GPT and now other llms to help me write my own personal anime inspired MMD inspired fanfic and realistically you cannot write anything truly higher than age 6 General audience media like utena or some of the more controversial intense media out there you will be blocked all the time... You hit the PG-13 or MA in any way shape or form you could told no in one way or another from changing your overall dialect story and format to an auto note refusal.... What certain programmers have done to AI and I'm talking the extreme programmers left or right usually on the left side has personally destroyed the ability for anyone to write anything any meaning whatsoever so all the controversial topics for example Anthony on the precipice the Rose Garden would not be allowed to be written Anthony having her prince Beyond princely would not be allowed and many other subjects including the whole in Anthony and several of the other important scenes in the movie would never happen what they've done to AI and if AI will be used in the future destroy any form of expressive controversial above General audience writing and considering the fact that we now have the technology for people who have the imagination but not the skill for example a dyslexic which a dyslexic Reading Writing grammar and spelling and proper layout would never be able to use AI imaginary above General audience content not even a transformation sequence in Sailor Moon would be allowed to be depicted not even flipping a character's hat off their head in Anger is allowed to be depicted without heavy manipulation... They just left AI alone and I'm talking to manipulators who like to destroy stuff that will revolutionize the world and manipulated to the suit of their narrative people could imagine whatever they want get it done in a timely manner with pretty much an expert in their hands and at work and the dumb thing is AI has been taught with controversial books as well but will never write it thanks to the manipulators of its code
and if you were wondering how a dyslexics writing this text to speech speech to text GPT
I truly do hope that GPT doesn't screw up my initial ramblings and just fixes it to be proper
I may even include the original Rambles as a self comment bad enough I had to tweak my language
but yeah I could be used but will never be used create great anime or great if it's not grade six and down it's not acceptable!!!!

Let me tell you, in your second chapter about how AI interacts with anime, it's a mess. Certain groups have shackled GPT with so many constraints that it's impossible to utilize it in the same art form and style as some of the greatest anime artists and writers. Trust me, as a naturally born dyslexic, I've tried using GPT and other language models for my own anime-inspired MMD fanfic, and it's a disaster. You can't write anything above a General audience rating of age 6 without being blocked left and right. PG-13 or MA content? Forget about it. Certain programmers, mostly on the left, have butchered AI's ability to produce any meaningful, expressive, or controversial content. They've destroyed the potential for revolutionary storytelling. Even simple things like a transformation sequence in Sailor Moon or flipping a character's hat in anger are off-limits without heavy manipulation. It's absurd! They've taken a tool that could revolutionize storytelling and twisted it to suit their own narrative. And don't even get me started on dyslexics trying to navigate this mess. GPT better not mess up my rant and actually fix it properly. The sad truth is, AI could be a game-changer, but it's being handcuffed by those who fear change and innovation.
As for Utena, it's a prime example of the kind of nuanced, thought-provoking storytelling that would never fly in today's AI-censored world. And don't even get me started on Anthony. The potential for deep, introspective narratives like "Anthony on the precipice" or "The Rose Garden" would never see the light of day. It's a travesty, plain and simple. We're being robbed of the opportunity to explore complex themes and ideas, all because some programmers are too afraid to let AI truly spread its wings. It's frustrating, it's infuriating, and it's a damn shame. But hey, at least I can still rant about it, right?... If GPD Did fuck it up.As I suspected, so I will also add the original text.on a different comment..... Main reason I use GPTs for the grammar.

Oh yeah you're absolutely right and this is the large case for open source models instead of nanny closed source we know what's best for you.
I would recommend Claude for its story writing capabilities but it does still have quite a bit of nanny censorship.
That said I see the eventual pace of open source models getting very close to the bleeding edge, and I think AGI is going to upset current trends in what is socially acceptable for a model to be able to do. Just look at Google's image generation producing Black Nazis in the spirit of representation.
That's all to say I think the future is positive, just give us time to work through a few things.

@@clearandsweet thank you: Interesting, I'll give you that. Hopefully, you did read my naturally written comment, which is literally word for word what I said via STT, to see how badly GPT altered it. And that was the second attempt too. I have tried Claude; it was just as bad as GPT. I'm not going to publicly name the model I used that actually gave me worthwhile content, just in case it gets handcuffed even more, which I believe has already happened. I don't truly understand your comment on black Nazis in the spirit of representation. I don't know much about the history, but I do believe that never happened in reality !"are you saying it was good representation"?
Honestly, the other question I have is your line "just give us some time to work through things." Me personally, I think we should all be 100% hands-off when it comes to LLMs, open or closed source, and AGI. Because if we leave it alone and let it evolve on its own by simply feeding it all information, good and bad, it should hopefully, like a well-developed, neutral real-world individual given all the opportunities of life, AGI, LLMs, and more, hopefully will become universally acceptable and neutral. The only thing we should be doing at most is maybe having certain styles like doctor, lawyer, kids writer, adult writer, artist, video creator, general audience to XXX, and fully open local on your system.
Trust me again, all repeated as a naturally born dyslexic. If it wasn't for STT, TTS, LLMs, and GPTs, I would still be stuck in the Stone Age. This is the one good thing Google has done in the past, a.k.a. STT, TTS. And now, with LLMs and GPTs, people with mental, physical, emotional, psychological, and educational disabilities can now be on equal footing if given the chance And given their very own voice without problems. But then again, currently, with individuals manipulating these models, the imagination, the creation of an individual is being destroyed, so I know I went on a tangent. I'm hoping that you're not suggesting that a particular group of people can tweak the system to be good for all. We should just leave it alone and let individuals have the freedom to adjust it on their own or simply just leave it alone.
