Solitaries bees/wasps don't produce honey :) They lay eggs in the holes and add honey/insects (some does produce honey, but in minimum amount to feed the future larva) and than they close the entrance until the newborn will open it from the inside and the cycle restart :) But, even if they're mot mass production of honey, they still impollinate very well :)

They lay their eggs inside and then close them up for protection until next spring.

It’s to help endangered species through lack of habitat. They are not honey bees, but good pollinators 👍🏻
So they pay well?
If you have an orchard their pollination services are worth quite a bit...
