  • Homeowner TC Tan purchased this two-room resale HDB flat in Bukit Batok as soon as she turned 35 nearly nine years ago. An administrator in the education sector, she had been wanting to get her own house and chose the location for its proximity to her parents’ home in Choa Chu Kang.
Brimming with interior design ideas, TC enlisted the help of freelance interior designer Yichun Lee and her contractor to realise the vision for her home.

A created balcony, that is so interesting. Revamp a typical HDB set-up but can tell it is laborious and definitely expensive.

This reminds me of classy and royal vibes like back to centuries.

Can't believe this is in an HDB flat! background music felt much louder than the narrator's voice, was reading the subtitles instead. Looking forward for more vids

Outstanding ID! It’s not the current trend of having arches or fluted cabinet or walls

Very well designed with colonial elements found in the very little details.

Kudos 👏... Much more interesting design and decor than all the scandi or japandi houses . I do think that for colonial style it's better to have a open layout ( rather than long and narrow layout) and float big pieces of furniture ( sofas and dining tables ) in the centre of the room and not push them to one side of the house.
