  • Thank you guys for watching, I LOVE THIS BIKE... one of the wildest bikes you can get right now!

    I have a 2023 Rocket-R, in Ice-Gray and it's the only Bike I ever owned, And Iv'e owned 30 bikes in my lifetime, (I'm 61) that I can honestly say is my Forever Bike. Mine is Stock, and will probably remain so, except maybe a tune, but the stock exhaust just looks so good, and just goes with the bike. And the looks and conversation this bike draws is simply Amazing. Crowds gather around just to gawk at it. Besides that, I like detailing it, and just looking at it.

    This is one of the most Iconic bikes that you can buy new nowadays. The power is relevant but the torque , man, makes us crazy of pleasure to ride such a machine. It’s only natural to feel like you do. The risky thing about bikes where you seat so down low is the vision. The bikers vision of the traffic in front, is not the best. And the guys with cars, mainly SUV cars, they say they don’t see us approaching. On a taller bike like a Big ADV bike, it doesn’t happen so often and we have a better view of traffic ahead!
    Enjoy, man. That bike is a fantastic ride

    I did a rolling start slightly downhill and went full throttle first to third. I looked down and was doing 130mph. The main thing is you can go full throttle without doing a wheelie. Most of the time I just Potter around. It took me over a year to try full throttle. It took me a few months to put it sports mode which is where it stays now.

    I was wondering about whether Triumph dealerships would be prepared to load the Storms ECU map into my GT, so awesome to hear there is precedence with your R. I have the exact same Werkes all black exhaust too; amazing sound, looks and love the flames when you open it up🔥. I have the quick-shifter and black 15:56 mid mount pegs too; again, transformation mods that were so worth it. Thanks for sharing mate.

    It's my only bike and I tour on it, I take it to the track, I pick up groceries. But after over 80,000 miles on my 2020 GT I still get the stupid grin when I peg the throttle and run through the gears with the quick shifter. Oh and I dont even mind traffic, passing is half the fun.

    3 quick questions. RedMane, is there any way to raise the foot pegs so that there's more lean without scraping the pegs? Secondly, if you removed that rear license plate holder, do you think water would fling up to your back if you rode it in rain? Lastly, how many miles do you think you'll be able to get from that rear tire? (I'm guessing around 10,000 miles or maybe 11,000 miles)....

    • @Rossiiride
      @Rossiiride  Před měsícem +1

      Hey there!
      1. I’m not positive but I believe that it’s not possible to change the pegs. however looking at it in the garage, I don’t think it’s possible to scrape your pegs. (At least with the mid controls).
      2. That’s a great question, i think of you just removed the bracket and did not get a new tail tidy kit under the fender it certainly does look like water might splash up. But some of the kits online look like the come out farther to where it’ll catch any thing.
      3. I think it’s possible to get 10k if you’re doing the minimal amount of spirited riding. The problem is with this bike is that it literally destroys the tires from the torque. So I really do think it’s gonna be a toss up.
      Hoped my responses could help you in anyway

      the peg on the R has 2 positions, make sure hour are in the highest position, its not in stock form. Gives you another 10mm if I recall. I ride very spirited (always) with 10000km on with minimal wear, I would guess another 8-10k km. you will get a lot less with TC off, also high tire pressure will reduce life.

      @RossYates-uo1ci Před 14 dny

      No it doesn't have DB killers. At first I thought it was ridiculously loud but after a few days on it I love it. It doesn't even sound like the same engine with the Werkes exhaust. The same sounds were happening with the stock pipes just magnified 10 times. My wife said she hears me 5 minutes before I get home.

    I have a bunch of bikes. Some are significantly quicker/faster, but it is hard to beat this bike as a daily rider. The tune and weight savings from dropping the exhaust just really unleash it. I've never ridden such a restricted bike in stock form. I enjoy this so much more than my past Diavels. It always has power no matter what the RPM and is so comfy to ride. People really should put this bike on their shopping list.
