I am Sick! - When and How to return back to Running?

  • Oke, bad news I was Sick since Wednesday evening. You feel this sour throat during the evening and you know hell is going to break loose. In the beginning I was a bit worried because more than a week ago I had not one, but two mosquitoes inside my mosquito net! So maybe it was Malaria?
    However here in Iten they say there is not much Malaria because we are at high altitude. There are also not so many mosquitos. The symptoms didn’t get worse and I think I just got a bad fever. Being sick is ofcourse pretty boring, because you can’t do much besides relax and rest. I try to kill some time with a game of Chess or watching one of my favorite netflix shows!
    So how do you determine if you are really sick and can’t train at all or do some easy work. And after you had some bad fever for example, how to return back to training? Well I will let you know what I normally do!
