Also, you didn't point out that this message was given, not to a Christian community, but a Spiritual community. Therefore, the language I used to teach here was very different then what I teach in my own church. Which again, is why you choosing this one message out of the hundreds of hours of preaching I have, is disengenious to say the least.

I was extremely open with you, and honest. I told you that you had the serpent telling the truth and God lying. I also explained several other critiques that I repeated in this video. I think what you are saying here, along with saying that I selectively edited you out of context to misrepresent you, is deceptive. My only concern about having that private chat with you was that you would later misrepresent it the way you have misrepresented Scripture for your own purposes. My intention was not to talk publicly about our private conversation because I think it’s rude and lends itself toward one party being able to act like they are the spokesman for the other, when we obviously disagree on some very important things. But if you are going to bring it up to undermine me with false allegations then I’m going to respond.
Brandan's theology is a literal reflection of the lies the serpent told in the garden.
1. God is a liar.
2. You will not die.
3. You will be like God.

When you paint Satan as the truth bearer and God as a liar, you show your true allegiance.
It shows he is currently deceived.... but I don't think it shows an allegiance to Satan.
Obviously if he's deceived, he won't be consistent with the truth... and being a teacher, he will be judged accordingly should he fail to repent... but if he's sincere about his love for Christ, the Holy Spirit will guide him to truth. If he's not, I pray he becomes sincere about it.
By all means, rebuke... but we are not the judges of his heart. That alone is God's responsibility.
@@sunilchoudhury8957 wrong. Jesus said you will know them by their fruit. He is a bad tree because he is bearing bad fruit and Jesus instructs us to judge (discern) him based on that so that we may “beware”. Bad fruit like this doesn’t come from a “sincere” tree.

Anyone who has raised a child through their teenage years is very familiar with how Brandon thinks. He has to make scripture agree with his lusts and wants. We need to pray for Brandon.

We live in an age of instant gratification, so the concept of discipline and short term discomfort in exchange for long term success or gain is almost lost. And love definitely includes giving someone truth that may be painful, but is meant to help them going forward. Love is the parent disciplining their child so they grow up stronger and wiser. People today see love as lust and constant sycophantic affirmation...
And that's how we end up with some of these disgusting views of what it means to love someone.

@nqnix_ Someone may have already told him the gospel, and he may have already rejected it in unbelief. If he did, you can't pray that away. Pray for the ignorant who are listening to him, that God would show them truth and remove the scales from their eyes. The willfully ignorant are a different story. They want teachings that tickle their ears, and tell them what THEY want to hear, and not what God actually says. They are in rebellion against the LORD. You may want to pray that God give them a humbling like he did for Nebuchanezzar. You need to discern what you are dealing with, and act accordingly. Sometimes the iniquity is full and the wound is incurable. If they reject God's truth, let your peace return to you and move on to tell another. There are different soils of the heart out there, some will land on good soil, but some won't. Read the parable of the sower of the seed in all the gospel accounts it is contained within (Matthew, Mark, and Luke), so read them all. God Bless.
What really got me was in the end of the video. He's saying open yourself up to the changing winds of spirits. He's literally telling them to open themselves up to demons. That's terrifying

What we need to do is tell people to read all their bible themselves, for it will protect them from false teachers. People who are biblically ignorant fall for false teachers, or people who only want their ears tickled to feed the desires of their flesh. It has always been around, and the way to protect against it is the same, know and believe the word of God. Test the spirit against the word of God.

I have still to find a clear explanation of how that is not exactly what happened. God said, "on the DAY that you eat of it you shall surely DIE." They ate and continued to live for centuries. The serpent said, "You shall not surely die for god knows that when you eat of it you shall become like him knowing good and evil." And sure enough they become like god in the respect that they know good and evil. The serpent even enlightens us about gods motivation because god later says "Lest they eat of the tree of life and become like one of us and live forever." (something along those lines I don't have the exact quote any more) I have long thought that the god of the old testament seems very different than the god of the new. That's one of the reasons I began to incorporate some aspects of Gnosticism into my spirituality.

I was born into a catholic family, grew up in catholic schools and because of it, me and God have some issues.... but even I'm backing up slowly at this guy. He is dangerous and the glee with which he speaks in scary. He speaks a lot like I used to when I was young and angry inside. The worst being, he's smiling. May God help those who head him.

when I first came across Brandon I thought there was something wrong with the way he looked but I could not place my finger on it, then the holy spirit directed me to focus on his smile and eyes when I did I realised i scary they actually looked.
I was pagan for 7 years and when I accepted Jesus I didn't know the Bible and I watched a lot of Tiktok, which is where I found this guy. I had no way of knowing that what he was saying was false and a lot of it sounded right to me. It wasn't until I deleted Tiktok and began studying the Bible that I understood how warped his ministry is and as a new Christian he almost led me away from God. It was God who convicted me to get rid of Tiktok and it's been mindblowing to see how he saved me from something I didn't even realize was a problem. This teaching is so so evil and dangerous.

The media my peers suck into their minds is destroying them and most are so lost they can't or refuse to understand it.

I totally agree.
A good friend of mine believes with her whole heart this man in telling the truth. I have tried telling, showing her, pointing her to the truth and she absolutely refutes it. She's made comments where she says she doesn't know if she wants to be my friend. I'm not sure what to do. Pray for her I know but what more can I do. If she cuts me out of her life...I pray someone can change her mind before it's too late.
Roman's talks about people like your friend. All you can do is love her, pray for her, and hope she is revealed the truth. Until then just remember Roman's teaches on this issue and sometimes we can't help them.

Im so thankful for your videos. I was away from God for many years. And December of last year God woke me up and told me to read my bible. I was so sick with an infection that the doctors didn't even know what it was. The whole left side of my face and neck was swollen almost three times its normal size.. I opened my bible and read all day and have read everyday since. setting up in my bed God touched and healed me . Thank you Jesus. But there are so many ministers out there that just don't seem right to me, but I feel so blessed to have found you. I love how you bring these things to light but in love not judgment. What’s even more interesting is the Greek words for ravenous wolves.
The words are ἅρπαγες λύκοι (harpages lykoi). The word ἅρπαγες for ravenous is the same exact word used in Luke 18:11; 1 Corinthians 5:10-11; 1 Corinthians 6:10, translated as swindler. One who is rapacious, and extortioner and a robber.

Thank you for making this so clear. I have not been confused about Progressive Christianity but I’ve felt that they are so deceived that all I can do is pray for my friends that are under the spell. It’s satisfying to them to think they are not in sin and people like Brandon Robertson justify that sin. It makes me want to cry.

I think that when it said, "You will surely die", it also meant spiritually. They had spiritually died because they were no longer holy.

Thank you for your ministry and teaching and Biblical explanation on this issue and so many others - I am reminded of 2Tim4 - people drawn with ‘itching ears’ to hear what they want to hear rather than the Truth - May the Lord ‘enlarge your territory’ that more can understand deception when they hear it.
People who define themselves by their sin have reached the threshold of blasphemy and have chosen to reject salvation.

Saint Iraneus, disciple of polycarp, disciple of St. John, criticized gnosticism by saying that it is like having a mosaic of the emperor but someone takes apart the pieces and assembles it into an image of a fox then says "this is the emperor".
He wrote a huge book on gnosticism: Against Heresies
I recommend looking into it if you are interested. (There are short videos on YT summarizing the contents of the book.)
There are so many parallels between gnosticism and this modern day heresy that it is surprising but also not.

@A Girl Named Billie The point of a "half truth" is that if you mix a bit of truth in your lie, it's easier to fool people. This is a time tested method used by con men and propagandists. Still a lie, of course, but the point is thayt it can be more dangerous then a total lie in that more people may be fooled by it..
Most of the time evil doesn't run up to you shouting, "I'm evil! Look at me!" It presents itself subtly and tries to convince you that it's actually good.

@@holstonmatt being in a romantic homosexual relationship is a sin. It is very clear in the Bible. Jesus asks us to sacrifice things for Him. Brandan is leading people straight to hell, and if you follow him, well…. There’s a good chance you’re headed there, too. Some things that make us happy are not what God has designed for us. Repent, and follow Christ as He actually is. Not the “Jesus” that Brandan preaches.

Not 100% but I gather he's uninsured. Needless to say they turned off donations, but praise God that he and his family (wife + 9 kids) don't have to worry about the medical expenses associated with this. I was being pursued by the “hounds of heaven “ as my friends would later say - a front page article in the SF Chronicle would eventually lead me to a true Bible preaching church in the Mission district, and in January of 2004 I finally stopped running and let Jesus find me. I pray the men and women listening to this man’s teaching will find themselves hungry for the same truth and pursued by the same God who so relentlessly pursued me.

I think that the difference between sympathy and empathy is apt here in relation to the knowledge that was gained from the fruit of knowledge.
Empathy is being able to observe and have compassion for something outside of our experiences. An immortal Adam and Eve may be able to empathise with death. Sympathy is having compassion and understanding for the experiences that we share with other people.
The knowledge that was gained was the sympathetic experiences of suffering. Adam and Eve came to know personally what suffering and plight was. Not a pleasant knowledge to have.
Sometimes to fully know something we are burdened to experience ut ourselves. It is much better to care for burdens we do not face than to know of a burden by facing it.
The serpent gave them the knowledge to truly know what suffering was and what it felt like.

When I first got saved, I was reading Revelation, and came to the part where fire came down upon the people, and they were cursing God.
I struggled. It had never really hit me before, that if they would just repent (biblical repentance), they would be saved but they won't do it.... I told God how I didn't think it was fair. Because if He came back 2 weeks ago, that would have been me, just as easily.
My wife hears from God in images, and for me, it's kind of like an internal, inspired idea. And the idea that welled up from within me was: "But I didn't come back 2 weeks ago. I, alone, know the time."
It really has stuck with me forever, because I felt immediate peace about it... I still have a burden for those people described in Revelation, because I see my friends and family...
I just trust that God will do it when it is right... But whenever I get like what you're talking about, looking for judgment, I think back to 2 week saved Ken, and how "it could have been me"
