- I am so sorry but the way everything came together so perfectly on that performance was incredible AND THE SINGING!? just iconic all around. everyone running at the sight of Blackbeard, incredible. LUCIUS AND BLACK PETE ARE MELTING MY WHOLE WORLD. and his poor finger. the fact he cut it off himself!? I could never. I am so happy ed and Stede were able to have such a great discussion about ed's past and how he views doing bad things because of that and deciding to not hurt Stede. WOOHOO FOR BANISHING IZZY!!!!! 🩶

Apparently the real blackbeard used to use smoke and fire on his ship and his beard to scare people off, so the fuckery he teaches Stede is referencing this, and also on the second ep when Black Pete says Blackbeard's head is made of smoke
