Just bought a suv so this is exactly the video I need to watch :)
So right off the bat I noticed that you did tug on the strap but failed to pat the top or side of the cooler before saying “that isn’t going anywhere” this is exactly why everything flew off.
Whoever was flying the camera drone did a great job! Thanks for the video.
Thank you for the information! You're a great host too with excellent, clarified attention to detail.
Be sure to OPEN your doors before you strap things through them. LOL been there
🤣🤣🤣 Yup.
This is a super helpful and informational video! Thanks!
Awesome content. You can tell you're really enjoying yourself!
I think that putting the excess strap in the door may cause outside water to leak in, but is certainly an option when leaning towards an emergency situation.

Sooo if you have rails only and you want to carry something like a tent on your roof. What’s the best way to tie down so that it doesn’t slide forward or backwards when you break or accelerate?
Super useful. Thank you :)
Also on Nissan rogue 2022 I’m adding crossbars, but I’m very concerned about a soft carrier on top of it because I feel like the weight of the middle is going to droop
As an FPV drone pilot my mind was blown
What if you have side rails but they don’t have any space underneath? My Nissan rogue 2022 goes pretty much flush against the car.
Also on Nissan rogue 2022 I’m adding crossbars, but I’m very concerned about a soft carrier on top of it because I feel like the weight of the middle is going to droop. How can I prevent the middle from going down to the sunroof?
What about the heavy duty rubber adjustable bungies? They are quick to secure and can hold a decent amount of weight. Good for small loads. Also, it is a good idea to cover a large load with a tarp after the load is tied down. That way the wind shear has less effect on the load, keeps things from flying off if a tie fails and it keeps things covered in bad weather.
I lost faith in bungies after seeing people lose stuff. They look safe n solid, but....
Nice!
i like the vid, just not having the pov almost crash into the test vehicle. take it easy there fly guy lol!
7:13 for the 'close' pass.
7:35 someones having fun with the drone lol
謝謝!
Its like the griswalds
tell your drone operator they're hilarious
What if your car doesn't have roof rails, and have a huge sunroof and also no metal thing in the back for a trailer. I need to transport a huge box (BMW m sport bumper in it ) what the hell should I do. It's for a 15 hours road trip😂😭💀
🙋🏼♂️ How about teach how to tie with a rope, when done properly, holds much more then any cam straps and most of the available smaller ratchet straps. 🤷🏼♂️
Your straps are wind up the wrong way around 😇
Having the hook available from the start is much easier, and you dont have to unwind it before you hook it on.

The kayak is way on the back.
First to comment. Thanks for the video
... and it works just like a … ratchet.

there was nothing strapping anything down 😂
I need a handy man boyfriend 🥺
Stupid drone shots are too busy… makes you dizzy
another step that some people miss is with the ratchet straps is have the strap lose enough before you start ratcheting to be sure to get enough wraps around the barrel to be sure the strap doesn't slip out and under severe conditions, it may keep the sharp edge where it goes through the slot from cutting the strap.. The few extra seconds of ratcheting it a few more times makes me feel like its more secure.
this is exactly what i needed! thank you 1A Auto repair 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
