This brings back so much nostalgia to my middle school days. I remember when my switch was the most powerful piece of hardware I owned at the time and when this was announced I was so happy I could finally play the game on something that wasn't a toaster of a computer

You can still have fun + there is many modes to play. So if you just wanna play for fun go to creative or party mode. Because most console players will play for the win in normal battle royale.

i still remember this direct. June 13th, 2018. summer before 6th grade, and 2 days before the Incredibles would make its return to the big screen. i sat at my dinner table watching the direct for the new Smash trailer, and was shocked to find that fortnite was coming to the only platform i had that could run it, the switch. i got a nintendo account that same day just to get it. i stayed up for hours playing it, until i realised it was finally time to get some rest. good times those were.

Nostalgia watching this back! Man I remember the hype for Fortnite on Switch back in Summer 2018 was insane, the game was perfect for the console, loved playing it in handheld mode, good memories. 😊

This is what I missed from fortnite, I remember when the coolest skin you could have back then was Rex and the reanimated emote, we would hop on after school and just play, not for the wins, but for the fun like turning the cave in loot lake into a little shack or going inside a house and putting traps everywhere, spraying them so that they bleneded in, but know the game is more about just winning which was always its purpose, but there’s just no joy and no fun, I just wanna be able to do all those things again

I remember I invited my friend over to my house and he said he will come, I was on my tablet and in my recommendations I saw this video.
I was like, “LETS GO” I get it, And we both play when he got to my house.
Later on that day my sister had a baseball game and I took my switch, I couldn’t stop thinking of how fun it was. And I couldn’t wait to go home and play.
Then a few weeks after that I got the battle pass, Went to my grandmas, And me and my cousin were playing. My switch needed to charge so I charged it. But every 5 minutes or so I would keep getting my switch because I wanted to play with the Carbide or BattleHawk and I wanted to unlock more things.
