I thank you both for the advice! Im 32 and have never even gone on a date. I thought there was something wrong with me since I never had any desire to try, turns out I'm demi and have trust issues. The part about people will not seek you out hits me hard, I deep down want some to choose me, since I dont know what I want.

Dating scares me - I kinda agree with what you say about wanting someone to choose you because you're unsure yourself. It's the sort of thing I feel myself - approaching someone is super nerve-wracking and since I came out last year, it's even more daunting!
@@iana6713 Thanks! Ya I feel all that too. Everyone tells me to find a club or group that shares one of my interests, so I have something in common with them. It's easier to connect with people who share a hobby or an outlook on life with you. I think I need to socialize with others more in general, I'm only ever at work or home.

Thank you guys for some helpful advice of you could know about dating as I’m 34 and without an Uxith Beeko or in non native tongue to my fursona meaning love partner or in my case a girl friend. Above this video, in the search results was a video about why people hate furries. It is very symbolic, because many furries wonder why furries are hated, because just look at the flags on the thumbnail and you can understand the reason for the hating
So it's masked homophobia by targeting a predominantly queer and sex positive subculture. gotcha.
An open relationship isn't a relationship. That's just friends with benefits. I quite recently found out a friend that I have had for 15 years now has always had feelings for me. I told her if she wants to be with me then she can only be with me. None of this open poly BS. I'm extremely lucky to have found somebody that will put up with all of my crap. Because we have known each other for so long that we just decided full-on relationship because we just considered the last 15 years of dating on and off.
what works for other people works for other people, man. i’m extremely monogamous with my partner but it’s extremely unfair to say that polyamory or open relationships are ‘BS’ just because it isn’t the fit for *you*. if it’s not hurting anyone and both partners are cool with it who cares?
also open relationships are different than ‘friends with benefits’, as having essentially a fuck buddy that you have a normal friendly relationship with otherwise is different from the intimacies not only in the bedroom but also in general, the closeness that comes from being with a partner and not just a friend
