How does the energy used in all this technology fit with the need to reduce emissions from energy sources?

There are a lot of cell phone towers here in Croatia, we are a small country. Some farmers are not aware or don't care.

I think the potential danger to radio waves is dependent upon 1) frequency and 2) amount of energy. Our biological tissues will react very differently depending upon the nature of the radiation. Some frequencies won't harm them at all. Others are probably catastrophic. The radiation that reaches the ground from geosynchronous satellites is extremely tiny. I'm not sure how much stronger the radiation of the lower altitude orbit communication satellites is. Cell towers have the potential to have much higher levels of radiation. This topic requires diving down into more detail than I ever have heard in the public discussion.
