***** DOFP Quicksilver doesn't control time, that scene was just to show us the world from his perspective when he moved super quick
Inder Salwan Because this Quicksilver is not nearly as fast as the one from DoFP. He is more in line with the comic version. Fast, but not "practically stops time" fast.

***** yeah i thought it was a BS when QuickSilver in Xmen seemed like he could slow down time, but QS in the Avengers couldn't outrun a speeding bullet. bullets travel at about the speed of sound and i thought QS was a lot faster than that.

***** Marvel actually planned on having Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver in Age of Ultron before Fox did, and it was always the plan to kill Quicksilver because someone needs to die in the MCU and actually stay dead, otherwise the steaks just don't feel really high. So out of spite Fox put that Quicksilver scene in their movie (the scene was originally going to have Juggernaut I believe)
Because Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch belong to both the Avengers franchise and X-men franchise then there was this strange legal loophole that meant both Fox and Marvel had the right to use the characters in their movies.

+the Comic Nation 108 For some reason, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are a part of a special clause regarding movie rights. Marvel Studios still avoided calling them Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver though, because that would reference mutants and Marvel Studios doesn't have the rights to mutants for movies, hence why they used their actual names (Wanda and Pietro Maximoff) in Age of Ultron.
