- Dr. Nemeth has seen countless patients with excessive #calculusbuildup or #tartar that needs to be removed. However, this case was a bit unique. At our office, we try to save every tooth we can, but in this instance the teeth were beyond saving.
Tartar is also called #dentalcalculus It is a hard, almost cement like deposit that can stain the teeth and create a bond that can only be removed by a dental professional. A dental hygienist can perform a calculus removal.
Doing a simple teeth cleaning is not always the best option for one who has periodontitis or gum disease.
This woman had other systemic conditions that we believe are almost certainly associated with her infected gums. Gum disease, excessive calculus or tartar have been associated with countless systemic diseases like Diabetes, Cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer's, COPD, Kidney Disease, and various Cancers.
We were able to place dental implants in the upper arch. However, the lower arch is yet to be treated with All on 4.
Get your gums checked! You do not know how serious periodontitis can be to your overall health. If you have gum disease, or if you are in need of a calculus removal or dental plaque cleaning our office is here to help.

The upper teeth:😁
The lower teeth:☠️☠️
its actually just dentures
One infected tooth can already do this
The smell wasn't great either probably.
also possible brain infections, so if you get an infected tooth get it checked asap
I'm going to go brush my teeth
Unless you use something to kill the microbe that will not help genius.
We should mandate teeth professionally cleaned to prevent further health problems
Good idea .Who pays the bill tho??Alot of people let there teeth get like this because they can't afford a dentist 😢❤😢....A clean and scale in my country is $300 can be more.😮
Wtf that too expensive where do u live ? Exaclty US ? @@vanessaeverett1141
@@vanessaeverett1141 The goal is to have a good oral hygiene by brushing gently and flossing by doing that you wouldn't have problems.
@@itzikalma9959 Yes thats true....You still need a dentist though for cleaning and scaling. My dentist recommended twice a year.😃♥️😃
I guess you could call this a differential diagnosis.
Sweet 😢Jesus OMG
Heart and gut problems, too. I knew if someone who died from bacteria in his mouth because he didn’t take care of them.
Sad
Yes the importance of mouth heath is real. It’s the central location going to all your main organs !
Why they so bad ?
Poor woman! 😢

Can you please do a Christopher Walken impression video. I swear your his long lost brother
It’s one thing to want healthy teeth, it’s a whole other thing to be able to afford it.
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING.
That vid turned my stomach, he's a brave dentist 😬
Ah yes, calculus buildup, let’s not forget integrals and derivatives and their role in maintaining good dental hygiene
😂
lol
Whats the derivative of that calculus to the x^2 power?
Wow ty
Utterly amazed at how someone can let their dental hygiene get this bad…. It’s one of the easiest habits to get into. Lord only knows what STANK that produces too
I want to know the reason of WHY these demons FINALLY decide to go to the Dentist. Lol They should interview those extreme cases.
This video makes me want to brush and rinse with Listerine for an hour
Average British woman

Out of curiosity, how can this cause diabetes to occur?
I’m curious how too
Wow! 😮
That doesn't sound good the bottom teeth don't look ok thanks for your info on this information Glad I don't have calculus or gum disease or diabetes I'm perfectly healthy and my teeth are healthy
Taking Prodentim can fix it.
Wim Hof breathing exercises will also help immensely.
