- Follow along as Kevin changes configurations from GT3 to Prototype and builds totally unique stuff in hopes to change the immersive rig game. He's excited, Aloyishis is excited, and they hope you are too. Simmersion part 2 covers assembly, some cleaning, and much more.
Please enjoy. Seriously. I had fun building the parts and making the videos regardless of the more than 200 hours spent on it all. - Hry
Your attention to detail is awesome. I really appreciate your uploads.
Thank you very much, and I appreciate you watching them.
Awsome work! Great work with the video/presention. And as for the dust/particles 😡 you think you've brushed/cleaned them all away then during editing you notice more 😡😂
Thank you for sharing 👍🏁
Thanks, buddy. I KNOW!!! You don't realize how much dust you have in your house until you build an all black rig. I give up on it. lol
Simply amazing your attention to detail and craftsmanship is inspiring looking forward to more of your content. Great stuff! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much! Good sir!
Loving your videos man! Was waiting for this one.
Glad to hear it! Thank you.
(Obviously) awesome attention to detail but more importantly, the creativity is a breath of fresh air and something that's been lacking in this space for a while. Looking forward to seeing your channel progress and get all the attention it deserves
Thanks for "getting it," seriously. My goal is to have fun with it but still put out a quality presentation of what I do. A little entertainment value is always a good thing to me.
This is killing! Congrats man! I loved!
Thanks, buddy.
Congratulations. Really great
Thank you very much!
epic rig and style video, i look forward to seeing more!
Awesome, thank you!
Again that was awesome Kevin! I 'm thinking about some DIY for my rig as well now😂
Awesome, thank you. That's what I do, man. Grab some stuff and get to it.
This is next level. Giving me some inspiration to make mine look fancy.
Thanks, man. Get to work and fancy that thing up. I'm glad to inspire!
This is crazy!! Great job
Thank you very much.
Hey Kevin, I found your channel while on the hunt of ideas on how to build the cockpit for a Prototype series car and must say yours is the best and probably only one I have seen out there. I am a fan of yours now !!
great job 👏🏻 awesome work
Awesome. Thank you for watching and good luck on your build! I'm quite happy with mine so far.
@@sense-of-speed looks spectacular, I hope mine will turn out like yours. I will keep you posted
Take your time and plan! I'm looking forward to seeing it.
Another awesome video!!
Glad you enjoyed it, Mac. Thank you!
Cool. Good job. Keep it up.
Thank you very much!
i enjoyed this one. Nice talking Part. I´m currently trying to build a immersive Rig as well for my POV Videos
Thanks. It definitely makes things cozy and more fun!
been waiting for this!
Awesome. Hope you liked it.
Wow just wow. I thought I was the only one weird about cleaning the stuff off the material. Nice upgrade
Lol. Gotta keep it clean, buddy. And it made good filler clips.
Looks great!
Thank you, Sean. I'm pretty happy with it.
Looks pretty cool ...👍
Thanks, man. And thank you for watching!
Pretty fricken rad. Super clean.
Thanks, buddy. I have more stuff to build once this fov stuff is done.
So cool 😮
Some next level dust brushing going on there....
Droolworthy sim, very nice.
Lol. Yeah. It collects quick. Thanks for the compliment.
I watched your previous videos and enjoyed the radio voice you have. However, it always made me think - the voice sounds familiar to me...but I couldn't really identify it. This time I finally got it! You sound like Duke Nukem 😉
LOL. Thanks. I haven't got Duke before.
Bro, that rig is absolutely wild!
Thanks, man. Glad you dig it.
@@sense-of-speed Yeah I love it. Had to subscribe to see what else you come up with!
@@haraldjohansen1867 Awesome. Thank you for the sub, good sir. 👍

What is the length of the extension on your simucube wheelbase to the wheel?
What is the length of the adapter/spacer on the wheel rim?
Trying to figure out what I’ll need for my change over from Fanatec to simucube.
@@imJGott 3 inch SRB extension. On the base, and 3.5 inches on the wheel.
Impressive! One could wish for a little more light, the darkness hides some of the amazing work you’ve done 😊
Thank you. Something about all the black absorbs all the light. Believe it or not, that was shot with almost 300 watts.
Amazing.
Thanks, man! I'm working on more stuff for it. It never ends. Lol
Awesome 😁
Thank you, good sir. I dig your channel as well.
Shoot. amazing
Thank you very much!
Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kevin you ROXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Regard´s From the Chilean Polloooooooooooo
Lol. Thanks, man.
Amazing work! Looks incredible!
Have you tried the latest pacelogic pro dashboard yet? how do you like it?
Thank you. I use the telemetry in the racelogic clone. For dashboards I use the Lovely dashboard. It's the best I've used.
This, yes. Less than this is nothing. Congratulations.
Lol. Thank you!
Nice cockpit, what are your wheels, rig, and button boxes?
Thanks. Wheel is the Simedal Xgt. The rest is the Apex sim racing carbon dash, Stream decks, and a 5 inch amoled display.
That's it dude!
Thank you, good sir.
Looks great I would love to buy some of those panels from u.Can u make more?
Whoa, simply amazing. What size monitors did you need to use to achieve such good wrap-around visibility?
Mine are 32" I felt 27 was too small.
And, thank you!
If this doesn't inspire, I don't know what will, love the rig dude. What's the steering wheel/button plate you're using?
Thanks, man. That means a lot. The wheel is the simedal x-gt. It's the Audi / Lambo wheel without the decal.
First, awesome setup man I have two questions. The lmp seating position isn’t like f1 position?
Are you happy with the simedal steering wheel?
Thank you. The seating positions are similar. My pedals are about 2 inches lower than traditional.
I love the Simedal wheel. I've been using it for almost a year, and it has been flawless.
Hello man, I love your setup and the dedication behind it. I've noticed as button box/dashboard you have the Apex SimRacing Dashboard, does it come with backlight buttons or is it a mod you've made yourself?
Hey, man. Thank you. Apex offers a led upgrade on a lot of his stuff now. I ordered it that way and used some spare stickers from my wheel to dim it down a bit. It's a really nice product and worth the money to me.
@@sense-of-speed very interesting, sadly living in Europe it's going to be hard to order it directly from the manufacturer.. really wish they'd give this kind of service for Europeans as well.
@@RiccardGasperi Hmm. Maybe try contacting him. I talked to him via email with no issue and paid the difference after I placed the order.
Thank you man.
Looks great could I buy some of those panels from u?
Thank you. I never thought about selling them. It would be difficult to do something like that since mine are sized to my rig.
Awesome work dude, I just built my first rig, nowhere near as impressive as what you’re doing…..badass dude
Thank you very much. Enjoy rig, man. Mine has been a lifesaver for me..
Im curious wich wheel is the one u use?
Simedal X-GT
Old school thing- patience
Seems to be.
💯💯💯💯💯💯
👊👊👊👊👊
This is all well and good but where is your dentist's drill?
LOL. It does have a little bit of that feel now that I think about it.
Steering wheel ?
Simedal xgt lambo audi clone without the decal.
Is that just carbon with no resin?
Yes it is. I didn't want to go through making molds so I just wrapped the pieces then sealed the carbon with a few coats of clear to protect. It worked out better than I thought.
you need the cosworth ccw mk2 🙂
I know! I have to save up. I didn't think it would bother me, but after some seat time this weekend, I really need an accurate wheel.
This is gorgeous. I'm curious if you can space the monitors in such a way to leave a gap for some IRL panels to replicate the inside of the cockpit and use the monitors as basically exact windshield/window replicas. Check out how they seem to have done something like that here: czcams.com/video/DiukYWn5EqM/video.html
Thanks, buddy. I thought about it, but I switch around cars so much I didn't want to be stuck. It would be pretty damn neat, though. You actually linked my video in your link. Lol
@@sense-of-speed oh hah whoops my bad. I was sharing your video with someone. I meant this one: czcams.com/video/w-wv51_GSRU/video.html
I see what you're saying though. Dope setup nonetheless!
@chrisc3825 lol. No worries. Man, if money was no object and I had a spare warehouse, I'd probably do it.
Very nice!... check out my GT3 to LMP3/LMP2/GTP conversion I've been doing. I built a GT3 cage and then built the LMP structure inside for ease of conversion. I've been shooting POVs for about a year now and plan to start live streaming POV.
Thanks, man. I knew I couldn't be the only one building LMP stuff! Good job on the yellow restraints. I need to build those next. I did black first since I'm driving the 919.
@@sense-of-speed I'm poor .. so everything i have is mostly DIY. The cockpit frame is 2x4, the cage is PVC pipe heat bent and glued. The door cards and interior, including the restraints are "poor mans fiberglass" ie: laminated with cardboard core, fabric, and diluted wood glue. Creates a hard surface and reasonably strong on a cheap budget. The center console I made for the BMW M4GT3 was same, and I'm currently making the Ford Mustang GT3 center console in advance of hopefully an Iracing release. But yeh... I love the immersion aspect of being physically surrounded by an enclosed cockpit. I just added diy active ambient lighting which I'm still experimenting with. Great stuff and keep up the good work!
@rickswanracing3139 good stuff, man. I'm always a fan of whatever works. Besides, in a way, we're only building props. Lol
