      Thank you! The FPV race dudes would have to bow down to you. Racing on a HOTAS (Hands on Throttle and Stick) layout is a whole new world, conceptually easier, more precise (hall effect joystick)...means more speed. We have a Diatone GT2 bound to our GCS :)

      Oh man you do!! lol I have that very quad:) i was sat contemplating if it would in fact be the way we will head in the future.Quads are evolving so fast but the way we control them has been stagnant. Wish i was in the position to just get one right now and get it hooked up to the Rotor Rush sim and just see how i get on with it,see if i can better my times. Very very interesting indeed.

      Thank you! Check out our website, it has all our updated lineup of GCS models. Yes, it supports raw, you just twist the joystick, you can hit all 3-axis with one hand, much easier and more natural way to pilot!

    Hi, nice work! DragonLink is conected wired directly to the Computer? i mean, the signals are sent from the joystick and throttle directly to the DragonLink without any wireless technology like bluetooth? Thanks

    • @debinray1668
      @debinray1668 Před 5 lety +1

      Hi Juan, our GCS platform can output different signal protocols depending on what radio you are using. In case of Dragonlink we select the PPM out analog signal from our software/hardware interface and send it to the radio. We can natively output PPM, SBUS and SERIAL.

    • @grhosso
      @grhosso Před 5 lety +1

      @@debinray1668 ah ok, you have your own software to send the signal to your transceiver. Great. Thanks!!

    What is the station power supply? Grid power, to me, is impractical and I am guessing you would want a good size battery for and onboard computer and communications equipment to last for any real length of time.

    • @DesertRotor
      @DesertRotor  Před 2 lety

      Hello Nicholas, all our GCS models can be powered via 4cell Lithium-Ion packs and/or AC Power Supply. There are parallel battery ports internally so you can run two packs at once and 'hot swap' packs during live missions. Or you can plug the power supply into a generator. Some clients build their own packs for the GCS to get extreme capacity as there is a lot of space internally. Thanks.

      Hello Don W! Thank you for your interest. Our website has a GCS pricing configurator. It really depends on the model and options you go with. Our GCS models have a standard 6 to 8 week lead time and expedited builds 4 to 5 weeks. Check out www.desertrotor.com , send us an email note! We would love to help you further.

    • @DesertRotor
      @DesertRotor  Před 2 lety

      Hello! It depends what communication module you install. You have unlimited range if using a LTE radio. Point to Point radios typically around 5KM to 100KM depending if you use Antenna Trackers and RF Amplifiers. Range depends on a number of other variables, though those are the rough figures.

    • @DesertRotor
      @DesertRotor  Před 3 lety

      Hello! Many apologies, we missed this comment. The range is unlimited. The GCS can interface with the vast majority of digital radios available along with the available cellular and satellite networks. It's up to our users how far they want to develop with our GCS platform. Our typical user is getting 2 to 30 miles out of the box. Check out our website, www.desertrotor.com, thanks :)

    • @DesertRotor

    • @DesertRotor
      @DesertRotor  Před 5 lety +1

      Hello ! Since the GCS can interface with most analog and digital radio modules, there is no maximum range. We have clients that have gone 75KM with our system because they were using the best radio technology we offer along with antenna systems, amplifiers etc. Feel free to email us info@desertrotor.com and we can help out with any other questions.
