  • Steel City Drones customizes quick to deploy AV display stations for Public Safety and other Agencies needing a portable setup. Capable of movement to any location at a moment’s notice. This is the perfect setup for portability in one case. These cases are fitted with ultra bright 32 inch monitors that can be seen in the harshest sunlight with any issues. These boxes can be fitted to broadcast out anywhere in the United States that has an internet connection.
    We can integrate battery powered options into a rugged Pelican case configuration. This station provides the pilot the ability to view data and imagery, most importantly in direct sunlight conditions.

    Thank the Lord, I can't even count how many times I've seen videos where monitors are being reviewed an most of the time brightness is no where near where it needs to be. An very proud to see an American company that isn't just in it for the money, and works to improve the industry.

    I love it. That with my new mavic 3E sure would make me the talk of the town.

    That is awesome! After taking one of your classes recently in Clearfield in the blazing sun I can seriously see the advantage of this unit. The smart controller was great, but this would be a great asset to have.

    Even though I wouldn't necessarily have a need for it, this is pretty cool!!!

    Ooo, I like this ground station and I've seen a few.
    I would make the bottom part of the case have foamy seats for variable sized boxed controllers (TX-16s), one main 12vdc battery to plug everything and run everything off of using buckconverters, and one or two freestyle quadcopters.
    Really what I need is just the 1080p 32in monitor in a flat durable suitcase like that with battery power in the bottom as the weight and to power the tv, and the tv screen in the top lid.

    China made equipment is a deal breaker for most agencies here in the US and possibly Canada too. What are your plans for American equipment? You guys are so awesome but please look for non- Chinese options. I hope you understand our predicament.

    • @SteelCityDrones
      @SteelCityDrones  Před 3 lety +2

      Our Broadcast command stations are not Chinese made. As far as aircraft go, its not a deal breaker for most agencies. Currently there are no American made drones that have the features, functionality, or reliability of DJI. If there was we would be all over it, its just not there.

      @@SteelCityDrones Thank you. I was looking for a ballpark figure out of curiosity and so I could recommend it to others. Not for me personally or an organization I belong to. I'm sure everyone has this same question in mind. Also; does it have a radio to communicate with manned aircraft in the area which might be working the same search, fire, or other event?

    • @SteelCityDrones
      @SteelCityDrones  Před 3 lety

      @@underthedrone2735 Costs vary with options and its best for anyone interested to contact us directly. DJI has airsense which shows some aircraft activity but most helicopters do not have any transponder on them that will show you where they are. That's why Flight planning, and resource management (Visual Observers) are very important.

    • @underthedrone2735
      @underthedrone2735 Před 3 lety

      @@SteelCityDrones I agree but have you considered adding a two-way aircraft radio for Search and Rescue or Hot Shot firefighters to stay in contact with manned aircraft also working the scene? I bet it would be an invaluable addition to this kit. Obviously this isn't for the hobbyist; even a serious one. Would you say the cost to be in the $10k-15k range; give or take depending on options?

    • @underthedrone2735
      @underthedrone2735 Před 3 lety +1

      The Autel Evo 2 platform is another option for these departments and they will soon have a larger display Smart Controller that would be great with a kit like this. Again; the thermal imaging camera is not for the hobbyisit at the $7k-10k price range. It also has a longer lasting battery (currently) which makes it a better choice for firefighters and Search and Rescue depts. I can envision a pilot and at least one other person viewing the 32" screen. The larger Smart Controller would give the pilot some flexibility to move around a little if needed. Thank you for your replies.
