You know what’s weird to me? How sequels can somehow retroactively improve previous movies. I was originally kind of indifferent to this movie when it came out, but after No Way Home I just love this movie now for some reason. I think it’s just watching the actors grow into their roles. They’ve done a fantastic job and I truly hope Tom Holland sticks around for a long time. He’s an amazing Spider-Man and I would really enjoy seeing him play out some of the other stories.

This movie's awesome I never got what people's problem with it was, to me it perfectly reflected Peter Parker in a nutshell. A charachter who struggles between having his normal life and being a superhero, he's also someone who makes mistakes but then does everything in his power to fix them when it happens. His state of mind in this movie also makes sense because this movie is dealing with the fallout of endgame where he got back from being dusted only to then lose Tony and find it's now 5 years later no crap your going to feel like you need a break after all that trauma.

The news doesn’t lie directly but it misconstrues things so people get the wrong idea and interpret facts differently (ex: X happened, which means that Y is true).

This is one of my favourite scenes because it's realistic writing. The "secret identity thing by all means" is a weird hangup.
It really bothered me in an anime I think called Guyver, that the main character (Shinji?) had his secret identity blown to the villain, he knew his secret identity was compromised, and that they knew where he lived, and he STILL kept it from his dad, as if it was still protecting him and not the enormous liability it proved to be.
Here, Peter realises that things need to be done, and quickly. Wasting time dancing around the secret identity thing is just going to cost lives.
well there IS a tokusatsu called guyver where the guyver have some sort of "reactor" on his armor ( head if my memory is good) that must NOT be scrached because the will destroy him but i don't know od any gyuver animation! But well they had done an animation of "malai kishi garo" that is originaly a tokusatsu so it's possible!
i've read the opposite argument when trying to justify the raimi films as superior. something about how one of the core peter tingles motifs is that he's spider-man and peter parker and MJ & friends must never find out. Then that creates tension and drama and what-not
I much more like this take of spider-man where he has allies who know his identity while keeping it secret from the rest of the world. It creates a different set of tension and drama and allows writers to do different things with the character
but one thing that millennials love to do is inject their own tired and boring past trauma into current franchises.
@@pgplaysvidya If the movies were comic books then maybe she wouldn't have found out, but in a movie with limited screen time, it's hard to just keep going back to "nobody knows anything" more than a few times, so usually when someone in a movie finds out Spider-Man's identity, either they die or No Way Home happens. Alternatively, they make the movies unique and get a ton of hate for not being accurate to the comics.
@@9nikolai Now and days, being comic-innacurate isn't too much of an issue. Lots of people accepted the MCU as its own storyline, and if they can stick to the comic or drop some sweet references, we're all in; but if they can't, most folks just welcome the new story.
The thing is that secret identities make sense in theory but they would never work in real life, at least for public superheroes like Spider-Man.

It's hard to decide which of the three films are better they're all so good. The first had Michael Keaton and an incredible twist, the second had this really cool dynamic with Mysterio demonstrated here and the third had the incredible Green Goblin and Toby and all that. If it's a trilogy it's possibly one of the best in history

I remember how sad I got in this scene the first time I saw Far From Home
its such a cute scene like they really are just 2 smart and awkward teens trying to navigate their worlds who also have feelings for each other. Also absolutely love how MJ is potrayed in this movie and its so cute despite all her idc personality she still has her cute moments where she gets happy that she figures it out. Zendaya plays the perfect role. Despite there being only probably 30 min of MJ scenes collectively in all movies put together, she played the role so damn well. It just stays in your mind you know. Zendaya is soooo talented. So glad that she was chosen to play a version of iconic MJ.
It's nice seeing Tom Holland in a non comedic scene. I think if he got more screen time with those types of scenes that he would be more liked. I think its the reason I like him most in Homecoming.

Rewatch it! I just watched threw all 3. Then I went to see No Way Home from December 2021 in theatres just this past week as they have it back in the theatres here for a limited time with extended scenes. It was good to see it on the big screen as I didn’t see it on its original release in movie theatres
