just joined the patreon, hopefully I can get my hands on that villon alt arakni! I've been triyng to make arakni work but it just hasn't clicked yet, but I'm gonna keep trying
@@RedZoneRogue definitely just my playstyle. I'm all about aggro/burst combo so typical fatigue arakni builds feel slow to me. I'll have to try this out!
Honing Hood is actually a perfectly viable budget replacement in an Aggro Lexi list. Choose to go second, and break your hood on your opponents first turn to the game so you can immediately start the game with a five card hand. It’s not as good as New Horizons, but it’s not completely unreasonable to play the Hood. I’ve pulled some nasty 5 card opening hands that tilt the tempo scales so far in my favor my opponent can’t really claw their way back in to the game.
Honestly any decent blue - preferably one that also blocks for 3. I'd call it a flex-slot so it's something you can play around with! This Round's On Me, Tri-Shot - lots of options!

I can see that as a good budget option! I remember it being decent in limited and when I tested the Blitz starters!

Pretty good actually! One of the people I play against most is a brute diehard and there's a few streams of gameplay vs him 😉
The cost of those decks can be brutal on the wallet. But they sure do look like they would be fun to play.
