You could see the change happening in the old ufc matches. There was a difference between martial artists and true athletes, as time wore on more true athletes began getting into the fight game and learned skills as they went along, and they started dominating martial artists who had been studying for years.
Nailed it!! Nowadays you have to include strength and conditioning to be competitive for the vast majority. Wasn’t the case even 10 years ago I would say. Pretty cool to see the sport evolve and become more mainstream though.

Some beautiful jiu-jitsu. Super technical. A breakdown of the bridge and roll sweep would be nice. The way and angle he does it seems unorthodox.
