sweat. Attan dance is the afghan(pashtun) peoples dance and its also the national dance of Afghanistan which means alot of non-pashtuns also do it. Thanks for the video.
Attan originates from Pashtuns and it’s a Pashtun dance only

@@fashioner_asedar7 the word Afghan has been corrupted by Farsiwan Tajiks and Mongolian Hazaras. Pashtuns are Pashtun and that’s it. Afghan is ur nationality so tell your Hazaras and Tajiks to stop performing Pashtun dance

if you want to teach Attan, then do it correct! First of all explain the meaning behind attan, then the different styles of attan! For beginners e.g. you should start with Attan millie, if you master it you're ready for all other styles! Second of all Attan is based on dholmusic, not everybody knows the right timing of clapping or half/full turn, explain the different Dholdrumbeats to the specific movements! Third don't teach women false hand moves like the one on the left does when she turns! Nobody does that and it looks abnormal, but every girl is doin this move! It's correct that your hands stabilize your movement as well as your legs, but they also have to look loose and not stiff! Nowadays attan is mixed with fancy movements, that's all decoration stuff and has nothing to do with it!
Martmoul Agree!! Attan can’t be practiced with numbers of steps it has to be done on the beat of the dhol and every attan doesn’t have the same beat or speed. They should have shown the basic steps first.
