Back in the day, I used to LOVE racing. I never rubbed a win in anyone's face... and I won at least 98% of my races. I remember all my losses... 2 of them. And these guys were cool that I lost to, but it's because everyone knew me and it was NEVER about winning or losing to me.
I just have an extreme love of cars. Even when I had cars that I knew would be beat by something else, I wanted to race them just to see THEIR car rip it. It's all about the cars to a real gear head. I'm not saying winning doesn't feel good, but I encountered SO MANY sore losers. They'd roll back up to me and be like "REEE THAT'S A POS" or there were always the guys making excuses like "I missed third." I raced one guy 5 times and just toyed with him the whole way, made sure he hit third, then smoked him. He didn't even come back. But I was giving him a hard time because he was being a tool.
I'm surprised he thought a swap 2jz was going to trump a Twin Turbo'd one. I'm not a gear head, but unless I'm missing something about the weight of the vehicles.....this was a fools bet.
The last guy, who talked smack, lost, cried, and refused to pay up, is officially the biggest trashbag in the whole world. I love how cool and calm the other guy is "keep the money bro"

I only have a Kia Forte right now but it’s fun against whatever I can find. The transmission has some tricks that make it quicker off the line than people would expect. It’s fun any way I go whether I win or lose.

When it's up on the transbrake it's building boost but the longer you're up on the brake the more the engine can hurt itself. Basically he's trying to say He's ruining his car before the run.

I'll never forget moving to Chicago for college I had a 2004 srt 4. Got to know some people and I started to talk about racing finally I found them people in a foreign place to me but it was just amazing to see how huge of a scene it was! I was in heaven. Me and my ol srt4 were a monster in my hometown but my first highway pull got absolutely walked by a old hatch. Did it 3 times and I honestly couldn't believe it I was running a 88mm turbo. It was fun as hell though out there scooting on alot of stuff but being shown I ain't the fastest. Something I'll never forget and just puts a smile on my face thinking of it! Win or lose be humble with it! 🥰 be safe yalll

I had a Suburban I built up with a 500 hp 355SBC. 6k of American Iron isn't fast off the line, but I was pulling tuners over at a buck40 on the freeway.
I lost as often as I won... I didn't care. It was all FUN!!!! I'll never forget that little black car on NB I5... I was matted climbing though a hundred and this tiny little hatchback was passing me coming down the onramp.... he skipped a gear and flat fucking LEFT ME!!!! Hilariously fun... thumbs up and laughter when he slowed down so I could catch him.
Then we had a kid, and we all know what happens to the toys when family responsibilities arrive. Good memories.
I remember the first SRT-4 I ever encountered -- also in Chicago -- it easily walked on my stock (at that point in time) Grand Prix GTP...and that story would ultimately end (several years and many, many dollars later lol) with a 61mm turbo sitting where my engine computer and airbox used to be, and pieces of an Eaton M90 supercharger sitting in the corner of my garage. My friends joked that I'd essentially constructed a larger, full - size Neon SRT-4 with two extra cylinders...to which my natural reply was "Oh, you mean a FWD Grand National? Gotcha!"

I had a good laugh at the expense of a BMW driver the other day. I saw him coming up in the next lane so I blocked him by changing lanes without my blinker. When another lane finally opened up, he started to change lanes so I again blocked him by changing lanes without my blinker. I could see him in my rearview mirror getting pissed off. I finally changed lanes and let him go on his way. Take that BMW douchebag! However I did feel a bit guilty after he passed because as he was channeling through traffic he was indeed using his blinkers. Oops. 😂

I’ve always liked the minimalist styling and profile of the 2 door Golf. I saw a recent model year Civic last night that had the back window visor, large spoiler, and a lip on the hatch. Talk about over-styling, and I question if all of them combined are even needed or do much.
That being said, if I had the cash, I’d be coming after you with a modified GR Corolla, though I’d prefer the GR Yaris for its 2 door styling.

None of them. American car “culture” is so dumb and sad. These are all morons going in a straight line. I took a few of these types on the track at Willow springs. While I get 1:25 (super car level record lap range), they didn’t even get better than 1 minute 45 AT THEIR BEST on their 600-800whp modded cars. If you can’t get within 20 seconds of good laps in cars with 200-300 more hp than record setters, than just sell ur car or go back to the drag strip. I bet channel owner also just “races” people in straight line on a highway and thinks he’s a “pro racer”. Going in Straight line doesn’t mean in any way ur good at driving or a “racer”.
