      @@stevecooney1361 no probs mate. the scrap yard is your friend. if you get stuck gimme a shout i may be able to help. whatever happens make sure you use 22mm pipe for the main circuit. i got undercut on a job today as a heating engineer managed to con the customer into using 15mm pipe instead of mine and webastos recommendation of 22mm. his heat exchanger will crack within 2 winters. cheers Steve and good luck

    That heat exchanger was not scrap at all.
    12:07 The join you pointed to, If you removed the pan head machine screws from around the outside of where you lifted out the combustion chamber, you can separate the two halves of the combustion chamber, fit a new gasket and two new O rings. The gasket sets are available, have replaced many.

    Legend!!!! I was literally staring at this burner part thinking hmmm could i cut those welds and screw it back together! 🎉 Always good to see a random idea confirmed before trying it and possibly killing a hurner core! 😄

    Hi, did you replaced the felt type mesh under the screen in the burner? For the life of me I can't find any suppliers in uk only Latvia which takes 2 weeks to arrive. Thanks

    • @DoItWithPaulie
      @DoItWithPaulie  Před rokem

      yes that seems to be the only suppliers of the mesh.how bad is the old one? they don't have to look perfect for them to be ok

    Hi just watched you strip the webasto. I have one that I have stripped before a couple of years ago this year I feel the water temperature is not as hot any idea

    • @DoItWithPaulie
      @DoItWithPaulie  Před 3 lety

      Hi Gary. It sounds like it just needs a clean out. The carbon buildup inside the finned heat exchanger insulates,so the heat does not transfer to the water. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching👍

    Yours where cracked and the reason for malfunction. When not running the cyklus they stop functin as well. Do you have any opinion on how to repair? Is it a cleaning process or must i shange the burner or the pump? Any ideas?

      @DoItWithPaulie  Před 8 měsíci +1
