The dlan (house) light on my base dlan 200 avmini (the one connected to the router) is off - not red, not green - nothing. Either side of this, both the power & ethernet lights are green. What's wrong ?

So you plugged both devices in, they found each other, green lights. Now you are trying to connect with the new wifi network called "devolo something something", right?
You have to enter the password the exact same way. Big letters, small letters, all the hypen musst be entered correctly. And think about big i and small L looking nearly the same.

When entering the password remember to type in the dash between the 4 characters
