Excellent stuff. I'm surprised at how difficult it is to find a simple example of good radio presenting on youtube; it's all either tutorials, interviews, radio ads, or something unrelated entirely.

Any tips on how to standout as an aspiring radio personality
haha I know this is going to sound cliche but you just really have to be yourself as best as you possibly can. Since nobody is exactly like you, you must likely to be unique. Standing out, you just have to work extremely hard until somebody notices and they like 'arg let's give this dude a chance'. I had to bug/pester/stalk/try over 3x to get into the current radio station I'm in, so show people how serious you are about your craft and one day the right people will notice. Lastly, its not a competition, just be freakin' good at what you do!

I'm trying to find ways to submit a demo online, I can't find that information
Ashley August My advice would be:
To get into radio:
Check out individual radio stations and try find a email where you can submit your demo.
To get into voiceover:
Google credible voice bank agencies and research how it works before signing a membership to be a part of their talent pool.
Alternatively:
Start a CZcamsr channel, upload all your demos there, and spread the word to get more and more people to check it out.

Hey Karabo, I absolutely admire your work! I have a great interest in radio and I'm currently working at this other new radio station in braam. I do however have interest in working at UJ FM. Any advice on how to go about it?
Hey girl. Thank you so much.
My advice (and remember this is not the only way to go about things) Option 1: is to find out when the auditions.
Option 2: Get more involved in their events, interact with them via social media (get noticed nje) and if you manage to build a relationship with one of the hosts, offer to come help produce the shows or anything really (remeber they won't always say "aah sure come through" on the first attempt, so you really have to persist).
Option 3: Offer something that they don't already have, make them realize why they need it. It's never easy but that's why you need to be a loyal listener, that way you'll pick up how you can come on board and add spice!
