    Fender really turned things around with this update. The tone you dialed in at 13:30 was really sweet

    Just got my Fender ToneMaster Pro and I think it is awesome. I am returning my Helix LT in a couple of days. I don’t get why people say that they all sound the same when I hear a difference between the TMP and Helix and the TMP wins the tone test and authentic amp sound with no tweaking. Helix for me was pretty easy to learn felt comfortable in three hours the TMP was quicker for sure felt competent after about an hour. Still think for quick changes the Helix rules but for everything else the TMP is better to my ears. My son also feels the same and he is a real musician ha ha.

    Many thanks for your informative and helpful videos Doug. I picked up a TMP three weeks ago and I'm loving it for it's sound, ease of use and intuitive interface. Having performed like a dream in rehearsals it'll have it's first live outing this weekend.

      @@drummermike5150 I found it to be great, it has the flexibility to easily suit anyone's preferred setup live. I did have to tweak some of the presets as they sounded different in my in-ears. Also as I was using midi to patch change I had to remain in preset mode as I couldn't change songs via midi. Hopefully they'll include this ability in an update. Everyone remarked on how good the sounds were.

      @@jamescorr6295 Thanks for the update James! Did you just go out of the TMP to the board and then monitor with your IEMs or did you mic an FR cab?

    Hey there.
    In the early 70s, I had a Fender Scorpio.
    I haven't seen it yet in the movies I've seen on CZcams.
    I hope it comes in a future update, because I think it was a great amp. I plan on getting a Fender Tone Master Pro early 2025
    Thanks for all the informative videos, they really inspire and give a good explanation about the Fender Tone Master Pro
    Best regards
    Hans from Denmark

      Hello Hans,
      I had to Google "Fender Scorpio" because I had never heard of it. 56 watts! That thing must've been loud.

    Great video, brother, thanks so much, i always enjoy these overviews 🎉
    I'd have a request for you, do you think you can create the clean, rythm, and solo tones from Mark Tremonti from Alter Bridge? With the Dual Rec and the various fender clean amps we should have every tool to dial in his tones, however i struggle to do so on my own😅 maybe that's an interesting challenge for you, cheers mate 🤘🏼🤘🏼

    Fender Tone Master '59 Bassman amplifier. Massive digital processing power. Convolution spring reverb. Vintage/tight switch for smoother bass response. Four Jensen P-10R speakers. Included two-button footswitch for reverb and effect loop bypass. Something to talk about?

    I hope they add some more amps in the future, although there are already pretty sweet options.. I'd love to see something like an ENGL Fireball, Dumble Overdrive special, Victory (Super) Kraken, Fortin Cali/Nameless, Diezel Herbert/VH4, PRS Archon/MT100, Revv generator 120....😊

    Digging the channel. Picked up a TMP recently and find your videos super helpful. Thanks.
    In a future update, I would actually like to see some new Marshall amps like the JTM45 and JCM900. Maybe also make the JCM800’s low input a selectable option.

    Great video. I was an early adopter of the TMP and returned it because of the limitations and an unproven track record for releases. I ordered another one because it looks like they are stepping up and (more importantly) listening to feedback. However, the lack of tweed circuits is getting crazy. (Champ, 5e3, 5c3, high and low power twin). The lack of other manufacturers is understandable but how do they ignore the tweed deluxe variants?!?

    • @stanyoung453
      @stanyoung453 Před měsícem +1

      Agreed, more tweed circuits. But for the time being, I'm getting there with either a UAD Woodrow or a Tonex plugged into a loop insert just as you would any other pedal. Sounds great... but I'm sure Fender could do it better and it would be a tribute to Leo, who made Rock n' Roll "LOUD!"

    • @glenncohen4023
      @glenncohen4023 Před měsícem

      @@stanyoung453 I love the UA stuff. I tested all of the stomps. IMHO UAs most important contribution is their speaker modeling. The OX and OX stomp have speaker modeling so good that when you add it to ANY modeler it immediately imparts a level of detail and air that improves everything before it in the chain. If that modeling could be included in the TMP it would be the pinnacle in digital modeling. The ease of use and engineering of the TMP with the speaker modeling of UA (I swear we can hear the paper on the cone itself). I have tested a ton of models in front of the UA modeling, I cannot distinguish the models themselves when this is done, but they ALL improve. Try it. After doing this the ease of use and GUI becomes the priority. I will be plugging the ox stomp into the digital loop on the TMP. I kept the golden reverberator (in case I need that level of detail), the dream 65 (the ultimate compact wysiwyg compact modeler), and the MAX (as a post mixer high quality compact comp).

    Isn't the Dumble Overdrive designed after Dumble hearing a famous guitar player playing into a Tube Screamer into a Fender Bassman? I would like to see the Supersonic 22 Head with its two gain controls. Still waiting for a ducking delay like Boss has on their DD-200. Ducking delay works great for lead guitar so the delay happens at a lower volume level than the live picked notes.

    • @DougBsDigitalDen
      @DougBsDigitalDen  Před měsícem

      Yes, a ducking delay would be an excellent addition. I used to have a Supersonic combo amp; it sounded great on the clean channel, dirt channel wasn't quite there IMO.
