- Please know that this is my old makeup collection. And yes, I realize it's much more than what one person needs. You see, I love makeup, it's my hobby and I've worked full time for almost 20 years now. Rarely buying anything other than mascara. So what happened?
In 2008, I discovered the CZcams beauty community and got bitten by the makeup bug. I got hooked on watching hauls and started treating myself to makeup all the time. I admit, I kinda became a hoarder, thinking I needed to buy every product that I liked and thinking I needed to get something from every new limited edition collection. Before I knew it, I had spent too much hard earned money on too many beauty products, that I was never going to be able to finish entirely myself.
I was pretty upset with myself for becoming so excessive. So in 2012/2013 I began donating hundreds of beauty products to my local Women Helping Women shelter and gave lots of makeup items away to friends and family. They were all so happy! And... I was happier too. I stopped buying excessively. It was a surprisingly difficult habit to break.
I have a passion for makeup but now I have found balance as well. It's currently 2014, I have a great little collection, filled with only things I love and use regularly. Especially this one because I too was bitten by the makeup bug and recently been struggling with getting back on my feet financially. Such a clever set up. I love going to the habitat for humanity here and finding all those kind of treasures. I enjoy redoing furniture when I'm in the mood to do so. I'm glad I saw your set up as I'm getting ready to fix up my makeup area and it gave me some good ideas.

I love the organization in the drawers especially. We don't hhave a kmart. But a Ross. I love Ross and TJ Max. Two Walmarts. Wish we had a Target. Miss out a lot. Just putting a room well part of it is for my makeup and vanity we have put together. We just moved. Found a great desk glass top and big in the trash at my sons apt he manages. I love those deals. Right now us wing little jars and baskets. But think it will be great when we get it all together. Wish I had a mirror big one with lights. Have a table top one. Thanks for sharing. I'm so having my son build me a Hollywood like mirror with bulbs around the mirror. They have a few videos with different ways girls have done it. I just want mine to be able to move with me since I'm in a rent house. And my son just built his own entertainment system and has the tools to build me a nice one. And my bday is end if the month. Lol that will help me get him to so it. Mommas needs. Lol
