To those of you who are nasty and rude, do you have nothing better to do than watch videos of people you feel inferior to and say nasty, jealous and demeaning things? You are actually complimenting her. You are obsessed with her, and very envious! Get jobs and stop waiting for handouts. You would be happier people if you worked your butt off to buy what you want. You are so petty. To say these horrible things over such small!

Wow- watching this now after seeing your current house and your updated and decluttered collections, really shows how far you’ve come with your minimalist goals. Your current house and your decluttering videos are even more amazing after watching these older videos haha! Bravo to you girl! You got rid of SO MUCH. Plus your overall style has evolved a lot and matured into a very sophisticated but still shabby,beachy aesthetic and it suits you very well.
I really love your style! I love the way you display things like the beautiful journal from ross (I have one from ross very similar to it) in what looks like a napkin holder, and the doily under the lotion. I would have never thought of that.
I really like how you, honor and express your style, and your sweet partner probably feels like he just envelopes his soul in the essence of you as he sleeps there. To me a woman's room should be where she ends her day, in a pampering, comfy, aesthetically pleasing cocoon. Then begins anew in the morning, where she awakes to inspiring surroundings and has access to what she needs to start the new day. You've really accomplished that. Love it.

Beautiful, romantic room! My husband loves our room to be romantic too. I use doilies, cream, soft Tiffany box blue and pink. It's not old fashioned, it's dreamy!

I kid you not, absolutely everything you have is right up my alley! Shabby chic look, pink, leopard, creme color, cupcakes is so me! You've really inspired me to start decorating my room and make it my own. My husband wouldn't mind, I've just held off for so long. I LOVE your wedding picture and that what y'all wore...there's something beautiful about that picture and I think part of it is that it's so unique. I just moved from a house to an apartment. I have lot of things in storage but still a lot of stuff I need with me. My bedroom is bigger but didn’t want to crowd it with a dresser/chest/clothes etc. this closet idea is perfect. I have to side by side closets and the boxed storage is what I was thinking of but didn’t know where to start. This is GREAT!!!
to everyone freaking out about her saying there's no target , then turning around and saying her bedding is from target-
She says she ordered it online ok? Calm down lol.
I like the idea of using the shower curtain hooks on the closet rod to hang purses @10:19 : )

Watching the house you are working on now, and this house is so much different Christine! You had so much stuff in this tour. I must say, I like the simplicity path you are on better. It has really jump started me to examine my purchases and things I need to re-home and I am really loving it so far!! We have a long way to go cause my husband doesn't like to let go of his movies and books, but I say, pick some and let the rest go. It is hard to convince him that if he hasn't watched it since we have been married (for 6 years) it is time to let it go, but he just can't do it! Urg, but maybe someday. Till then, I have been tossing things left and right. I am sure one day I will look for some of it and have to re-purchase it, lol!
I grew up in Oregon, dropped out of high school to move to Maui by myself and here I am 12 years later. All I can say is... it's been a wild ride! Never let fear of the unknown hinder you, success is waiting! ;)
Lol who cares how old or young this room looks! I'm 35 and married and most people say my room looks like it's geared for a 25 year old. My husband lets me decorate it the way I want because he gets to decorate his office the way he wants. I don't care what my friends think of my room. They don't have to sleep in it!

Thank you!! I transferred my jewelry onto my other organizers and it's by our front door now, turned out we love it as our entry way piece, really handy to sit down while putting our shoes on and whatnot.

a girl is a girl no matter how old and we cant help but like cute things luckily for her shes not ashamed and feels like she needs to hide it. I see older men just as crazy with remote control cars and planes or star wars stuff.

Thanks! I know it's come a long way, lol. I totally redid my vanity since my old makeup collection video. New desk, new mirror, organizers, perfume moved. I took the glass shelf down when I got the shabby chic mirror, they just couldn't work together. But to keep the space efficient and my table top clutter-free, I needed to go vertical, and the glass towers fit the puzzle perfectly :)

Thinking the same exact thing. Lol I see so many grown youtubers decorate their rooms in this similar style and it makes me cringe. But I've never been one of those girls who liked pink and cupcake anything, not to mention cheetah print. haha I think her style now matches her personality much better anyway.

Yep found most of the bins at Ross about two months ago. I purchased a few from Lowes as well, they always have a great selection in a variety of colors. :)
Amazing taste and soooo organized. You continue to inspire me. I have to get to Ross, even if it means driving across state lines! I'm a cottage shabby country style girl too. Love your room and the girlie theme. So nice that your man is secure enough in his skin that he's not "scared" of a little frill. Now that's a man!!!!

Our bedroom is all white, gray, mirrored, seashells, and silk and every time we have a friend over they ask if my hubby minds that our room is so girly. Well, he doesn't at all and actually helped me pick everything (after I made my final selections, of course ;) lol

Now see that's what's so cool about decorating, it's all up to the individual. You can design each room however you prefer and surround yourself with all the little things you love. What's awesome is decorating your own home requires validation from no one, it's yours! Doesn't matter if anyone disapproves, they don't live there, YOU do. ;)

That is truly a miserable way to live your life not being true to yourself in attempts to copy what you think is the norm. I feel like people who do that are afraid to be themselves and are insecure. She knows who she is and is proud of it! I love that, and really admire that in a person. I think it's immature and mean on the other hand to be judgmental of someone.
Only someone in 6th grade or younger would find her old. You need to not be on CZcams until you grow up.

I too, love old stuff. I collect doilies. They are great for craft usage, too. I'm sewing one on a tote bag right now, along with some crocheted flowers and ribbon, etc. Your bedroom is beautiful! TFS
