The Lodge Card Club is a members-only social club in Round Rock, Texas (just north of Austin). With 24/7 cash games and 2+ tournaments per day, The Lodge is THE place to play poker in central Texas. The Lodge Live is streamed every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday at 3PM CT.
You never know what you might see on The Lodge Live stream. You might see Pocket Aces vs Pocket Kings. You may see the nut straight lose to a full house after the board pairs on the river. There's a good chance you will see loads of straddles (and double straddles, and triple straddles). Players go all-in blind or play poker hands after looking at just one card. That's just what poker is like in Texas!
The stream regularly features Lodge owners Brad Owen, Andrew Neeme, and Doug Polk. Players like Rampage, Mariano, and Igor Kurganov has also graced The Lodge Live felt. And who knows? One day The Lodge may even host players like Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, or similarly huge poker names. - Zábava
The guy that lost his bankroll here is the guy that posts our videos. He is making fun of himself. We wouldnt insult a random member like that.
Obviously that job pays very well.
He should change his handle to Broke Back Poker.🤭
He's much better at posting than he is playing poker lol
JK it's all love.
Been watching you for YEARS Doug, Glad to see you doing well for yourself!!
Ok. Keep the old title please
Why don't you upload some Warcraft 3 gameplay doug. Maybe some old tournaments?
15:24 "It's not like I'm playing like trash or anything." *All the other players* "NO! NO! NO!" (don't go changin') 💀🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Don't tap the glass lol, they knew to keep a fish happy lol
Has Patches been watching a lot of Rampage poker videos??
He does know it’s $5-$10 not all in or fold?😮
Fold? I don't think he knows what the word means.
All in or sit out😂@@doubleRprodutions
Slic Ric keeps saying “it’s not his day” but really this guy is just punting every stack lmaooooo
dude got coolered multiple times after getting his money in while it was good. he ran extremely poorly.
He knows not to "tap the glass" haha
Patches runs like Lieutenant Dan 😂
But YOoooo AInT GOT NO LeygS LOoootenAnT PAtCheS
And plays like Forrest
Thought it was a corey eyring vid for a sec 😂😂😂
Lmao same
Next time, just bet all your bankroll on red or black.
Yeah 49% to win is better than JTo vs TT lol
Imagine shoving that many times out of position pre-flop with 10-10 as your best hand. I couldn’t. Might as well be playing roulette.
Should rename it "Broke Poker Player Punts Bankroll Fast"
Patches needs to let that dream go ASAP!!
Funny part is 90 percent of people in comment section questioning his play and not understanding it was the Nit game and he had the Nit button which clearly explains his play!!
So this makes him a genius?🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
So loose 3000+ more because your playing the nit game?
@@randallpaguio6433 idk how u got genius out of explains his play but ok. Makes alot of sense.
@@GotoHere First off it's lose and second idk how much they was playing for but if it's 1000 then that's 8000 he owes stuck with button.
This is a perfect bingo hand all in with pocket 4's knowing that there are 10 more pairs that can & will beat you.
'what a spot for 10's' that made me lol
In a GTO vacuum (where suck-outs account for 77% of rep range) do you think shoving 4’s is PLUS EV?
Ummmmm no.? Lol
@@mattymcsplatty5440 do you think Cates should have value bluffed most rivers? Plus EV?
“This is fun, we’re having fun”
Does anyone remember an episode of poker after dark (cash game) where JRB loses his 200k and then when they ask if he’s done he says that’s it… and they are like oh no more for today.. and he says no like that’s it that’s all the money I had that puts me on empty. I can’t find a clip of it anywhere but I’m sure I remember it.. you could see on his face he wasn’t lying. Good to see him doing well now, it’s stressful going completely bust and I couldn’t image it at the highest level.. the climb back most seem near impossible.
Patches seat is locked up
It's so great when the fish of the table is happy giving you his money, it just means everyone else can be openly happy about taking it.
Poker is obviously a game of skill...
That’s the skilful part as knowing who to pick on and when to do so
@@toddpringle5820 how do you know who's going to get coolered 10 times in a row? That's total chance.
@@matteframethat's why you should play, thrust me i think you're lucky
@@carlo.demichelis ok dweeb
Cinnabon hit a fullhouse and a straight on both boards, thats nasty work lol
How about "Patches, the giver of fortunes!"
What am I watching 😂😂
microstakes-level play
This is online poker played in person.
To win a NIT game by losing your ass… 😂
Big slick overplay
Almost 1000 bigs with ace high
I just don’t get it lol .. considering the action you are beat pre so why risk it with AK off? 🤷♀️ 🤦♀️🤦♀️🫤
Patches is a Legend
Graphics are wrong. Says Patches went all in and then Boise 3-bet...but patches 3-bet allin and Boise 4-bet...
Patches is living up to that Brokeback Mountain in every way
Lighting money on fire
I think the title of the video should have "poker player" in quotes. That gentleman is not playing poker.
It is tournament poker. All in or fold with short stack...
@@yiannis2002s no, it’s a cash game.
@@Bobbypinker i mean tournament style poker. . of course it is a cash game, i know that. Donk players play all in or fold in cash games...
Surely if this is his whole bankroll and he’s the dude that uploads the videos, he took time to actually study some Texas Holdem? Who just shoves in a cash game with terrible hands. Has he ever heard the phrase that when you bet you don’t want to be only called by better hands?
What terrible hands did he have
Patches lost more in 15 minutes than I reported on my 1040 last year
What is the nit game they r referring to?
I know, I feel like I hear it all the time on this channel. Is it the same thing or similar to the stand up game?
Same thing as stand up game. It’s just nobody actually wants to stand lol
I agree, players should stand up. It's more uncomfortable to stand for an orbit than just sit with a "nit" button. Plus it's easier to see who hasn't yet lost their nit button.
He didn’t appear to be drunk, he certainly didn’t appear to be an idiot.
I disagree. he's clearly a idiot, look at that shirt hat combo
Looks can be deceiving 😬
He is speaking and laughing but in his mind “I’m screwed!”
Exactly! 14:52 look at this “I have a great time”. But maybe he is wealthy for a farm guy!?
Patches played like his name was holes
Deserved for sitting there with that hat & shirt combination.
Patches was obviously not wearing his lucky shirt
Patches gets wrecked on the hubbb 😅😅😅😅😅
Sammy Farha “Bring me more Patches”….
all in J-10. all you need to know.
Can someone please explain to me the rules of the 'nit game'. For instance, why does a player have to pay a 'nit tax' after losing a particular hand?
The nit game is an agreed upon side game. After the side game begins, each player is given a marker token (nit button). The only way to get rid of your nit button is to win a hand and show your hand. The last person with a token has to pay the nit tax. The nit tax is an agreed upon amount which is determined before the nit game starts (e.g. $300 paid to each player). On a hand with multiple board run outs, only the first runout is counted towards the nit game. If you go bankrupt and lose the nit game, you are still required to pay the nit tax out of pocket.
that's what happens when you play bingo at a poker table, you loose it all or get very lucky
Anyone who says poker isn't a game of skill.... show them this video
Patches O'Houlihan. If you can dadge a 6 you can dodge going broke
This was tough to watch
this is literally about 95% of poker players btw lmao.
Running bad playing bad great combination
the commentators need be more critical and not just say nice things 100% of the time. He went all in with QJ off, 44, and J9. "It's just not his day." it's usually not your day when you go all in with those hands.
he's the one who posts the videos, nobody wants to talk sh!t about their buddy. Also, he was ahead in a few of those hands.
He ran incredibly unlucky. He also lost with all the hands he was ahead when he got his money in good. It's funny you mention the 44 hand, since he's literally ahead in that hand as well when all the money goes in.
I felt bad. I’m happy dude didn’t actually lose all of his money like all of it.
Only Asians do that
He went broke show some respect
@@randallpaguio6433 I am. I don’t want to see any body lose all there money
This should be a wake up call to himself that he needs to stick to working and gambling in moderation. He’s no poker pro to put it short. To put it a little longer, he is arguably the worst 5-10 player I have ever seen 😂
this title is based and made you click, dont comment to say otherwise. great strategy here, just unfortunate that the homie patches didn't have a great strategy on the table, too :(
Well I think patches is ready for the triton million dollar cash game. What y’all think ?
Patches must be from Corpus Christi
Ive had days like this
U must play good 🤣
Patches is your daughter’s new kitten, not a poker player.
Anyone got Patches number? 😂
A Pachy day damn so clueless
I don't know why players run it more then once. I go to win or lose, not to play a long hand and chop it.
Wow how brutal.
any two cards
Tilt?
How can this be Fun or Relaxing Poker? I'll stick with 4 / 8 to not lose my Ass
Running it twice in these pots is ridiculous
Patches is son of Tesla
Solid poker player right there
He didn’t seem broke either
Who has 14k to blow like that
This is a person who doesn't understand strategy.
Jeesh, won't be playing poker very long
this is all the hands he shoved:
qjo -4k
44 -2k
ajo +1k
j9s -3.2k
jto -0
tt -1.3k
blind -1k
this doesn't even add up to the -14k he lost, which means he was bleeding chips all night
Im dumbfounded on the A6 call. I just dont get it unless you have a soul read aka you saw his cards. And even then youre flippin. I think A6 might be the worst 2 cards you could have (barring, of course, all garbage hands)
Im pretty sure because it was the standup game. They were the last ones. Only thing, I can think of
Not if you're playing a dude like that. Basically any Ace is a call with a fish like that.
if you are playing a fish who is known to shove j9. then you can profitably call with any ace. if you don't understand this, then you don''t know how to identify and take advantage of fish.
fold aj?
He runing pretty bad...😞
Did Ole boy insult one of your family members? Lol Rough title to the video
Played too short to earn any fold equity
Very few players will last more than a year two on ANY stream. The ones you do see are not playing with their own money anymore. Don't fall for this.
Well yeah bc unless you’re Phil Ivey , nobody wants to watch good poker being played.
People want car crashes. Blood.
Huge pots. Awful beats. And drama.
Unless you’re already famous, you are being selected to fight to the death for the audience’s entertainment, AND NOT TO WIN AT POKER.
Being able to navigate between consistently beating live streams without being kicked off the show is extremely difficult.
Therefore, rarely will you last on the livestream poker scene.
Didn’t even make it 5 minutes in. I clicked this video expecting to see a young guy just having bad turns or rivers, or getting out in tough spots. Maybe mis reading the board or his opponents possible holding. Instead is see nfl punter tryouts for the first two hands. Like bro it’s not a tournament. Why would you let the board ride with those holdings? This is the kind of play that just kills me. No skill just f&@k it all in let the board decide my fate without seeing how other people play. Dudes been watching too much rampage.
9 10 suited plays better than ace king suited vs 44. Pretty far from the best case scenario.
It’s doubtful that they played with their entire bankroll. That is never a good idea even tho the internet likes to romanticize it
This guy gambled. Hes not playing poker. Horrible experience for the whole table
LEEEEROOYYYYYYY NNNNJJJEEENNNNNNKKKKEEEEENNNNNNSSSSSSSSSSSSS! 🎉
Downfall of Patches Ohoolahan
These guys are horrible going all in with ATC
Calling this guy out hard!!!
Patches only runs god with the Gillian hat. Lose the cowboy hat, and run better.
Gotta be better!
Imagine being this bad at poker and still wearing that shirt
This bad ??????
The guy was selected to be on a live stream that’s predicated on
-insane action
-huge pots
- relentless aggression
- and the fans in the comment section criticizing every step of the way.
You learned nothing about dudes poker game.
He was not there to show off his poker skills. He was there to induce action. Which he did. And unfortunately lost big because of it.
I mean you can have whatever opinion you want….but this isn’t a legit setup.
This is a pre Determined ,
“okay let’s gets crazy”
Poker stream.
You can’t judge anyone’s poker ability based on a live stream.
People’s lives can change from these. Look at Robbie. All it takes is for some random person to do something crazy, and next thing you know Social Media is going crazy about them, and they are in high demand.
I couldn’t think of a worse place to try to watch high level or even sound fundamental poker….than a Lodge Live Stream Cash Game.
What a title😂😂😂
Poor kid lost his whole years salary making videos just to try to prove he wasn’t a nit🤦🏼♂️
Can't watch any Poker at the lodge clips due to the video titles. Literally nobody likes click bait titles, don't know what makes this channel do it so often
Patches is worse than most 1/2 players. No business playing at these stakes.
OR……….
It’s a Live stream predicated on action, aggression, drama, and blood.
And nobody is there to play
“good poker”
*AND EVERYONE IS THERE TO
CREATE/SPIKE VIEWERSHIP*
So that maybe, just maybe, someone watching might feel inclined to leave a comment criticizing player skill level, without realizing how badly they’re being played themselves. 💯
@@MINNESOTA_PTSD the thing is..this is the first time I seen Patches play. And watching players play horrendous is not as entertaining as you are making it be.
So, I will probably never watch Patches play again, because it was so boring. People always make these comments like they are some genius. Believe it or not, people still want to watch players make good decisions. Sure you can call a 3bet with 57 suited..but once you get to the flop, we want to see you strategically win the hand. Now if you're just shoving those kinds of hands preflop, that is actually quite boring and you will lose viewership if that's what they are all doing. 🤣
This isn't poker
Patches, you should have blocked your face then reveal it at the end with a pic of you editing the video.
Terrible terrible player
run it once
He didnt run bad he played bad, sorry Patches
Is this a special game/room?
Horrible short stack play
this is not entertaining
Y’all soft
