Sadly he has changed it a bit because people would do the laugh as an impression of him, leaving him known more for the laugh than anything else.!or so he said in an interview recently.
This movie is for the 80s babies. We understand every joke and when he laughed at the two guys outfits. Those outfits were from Michael Jackson Thriller

He'd also just finished bullshitting his way into a hotel suite by pretending to be a journalist in town to interview Michael Jackson, and lo and behold, two guys in Michael Jackson music video jackets walk past minutes later.
(The real reason for Eddie's reaction is that director Martin Brest sent the two guys into the shot after seeing them out and about without letting Eddie know beforehand they would be in the scene. His reaction was completely spontaneous and genuine)

The good thing about the Last Beverly Hills Cop on Netflix is that you dont have to wait until it gets out of theaters and on DVD
12:25 that guy is Bronson Pinchot from the old tv show Perfect Strangers. The exchange between him and Eddie in this scene was ad-libbed. Eddie said Bronson was so funny that he had to bite his tongue to keep from laughing while filming. You can see Eddie do this during their exchange.
This movie meant so much to me as a kid….and even now. Being born and raised in Detroit you always love when The D is showcased in any way. I just wish more of the movie was here 😂

Happy Fourth of July! First of all. Second of all, just found your Channel 😂😊. Also, the movie Eddie Murphy did with "Metro" in 1997, was a pretty good movie aswell i heard. Basically it is a cop movie like Beverly Hills Cop. But yeah, either way, Beverly Hills Cop is basically the first real action movie i saw and have been my favourite movies since i saw it basically. Just wanted to share this cause this is a hillarious and cool reaction😊😅😊 also i recommend watching Rush hour with Jackie chan and Chris Tucker, if you havent done already. Those cars in Beverly Hills in this movie reminds me of an anecdote from my own life. I am a Finn and my family aint exactly rich, but my dad does have a phd in mathematics and in the early 90's he managed to secure some funding to work at a university in Claremont, California, you know which country. Up until then our family cars had been old, rusty Mercedes Betz cars, one yellow, one red. Our dad traveled to the US few weeks prior to us, to set things straight like arranging appartment and he bought a new car. That car turnede out to be a silver Buick Regal, which to my child eyes was like a limousine level luxury car. It had features I did not even knew existed: AC, cruise control, leather seats, remote for the garage door, cup holders, automatic transmission, etc... My little mind was blown. That is when I knew, America truly was the greatest country in the world.

You have to watch the 2nd of too 1 & 2 are classic and iconic the third Beverly hills cop 3 in the franchise sereis that one is melo so so. And the new one that just came out yesterday July 3,2024 on Netflix I would recommend is alright quit good a 6/10 better than the third film.

I came to see how many schooled you on the iconic laugh that Eddie Murphy was known for in the 80s. Get used to it. ;) As a GenX I realize our "obligation" to show our kids (when they are like 25 lol) the Eddie Murphy and Steve Martin (Wild and Crazy guys) we grew up with. Their rated R, sometimes vulgar reputations changed when they started doing more family friendly movies. I don't know if you've also seen 48 hours and Trading Places from Eddie's early days. I watched part 3 again for the first time in 30yrs, and I realized why it's not as good as the first two. The 3rd one has a very serious storyline, however, they incorporated comedic tropes and a love interest that didn't match up with the story. "Axel F" is more on par with the first two movies and because of that, it's actually pretty good.
