This is one of the coolest superhero movies ever made and it’s not even based off a comic book.

@@user-nv8ds8wf6g Still waiting on the sequel - thankfully Charlize Theron, Will Smith, Jason Bateman etc. are all still down to do it and all of the cast are still relatively young to be able to do a sequel. After the big "twist" in the movie, the director said for years after that a sequel would delve into the whole backstory and "gods" lore etc. I hope we get it one day soon enough.

A lot of reactors be saying that they haven’t watched a movie but you can tell by the way they react to certain scenes they did seen the movie before. They’re just doing it for channel and views to make their money

Well while the movie is good and she probably did but the movie is extremely predictable .
Then explain on some of the rare anime people reactor who predicted without the release of that manga yet?? (I saw 2 reactors channel but i forgot their channel names since its been a while) N it turns out they’re actually correct.... in other hand just sharin For me i do believe when ur thought of past present n future u study further to master its theories but no 1s perfect so theres still a chance that it can still be either right n wrong.. n u can predict future by base on observin the movement, words,actions ur surroundings n the weather etc... only if ur focus or have lessons on it then u can guess predict it by 50-50.. now for me when i watch reactors i go with the feelings n when the person acted like she/he hasnt n acted some way that makes me feel irritated then i stop watching them.. but this one doesn’t irritate me..which means its either shes good at it or she never really actually seen it yet.. in here shes really really imergly into the movie n reading their future.. base on their actions their faces n their words.. cause i also do predict when im focus on what i watch but often its still 50-50... unless im focus then that raises a bit to 60-40 on predictions.. thats why some people are scared why can some people tell?? Predict or something more.. its because they learn it n its possible.. its a skill nor talent... n some people dont like that because those corrupt can get caught... so its very important skill...

I went to the movies to see Seven Pounds. Had no idea what it was about, only knew that Will was in it (one of my favorite actors) and needless to say, I was *extremely* unprepared. Ended up bawling in the back row by the end 😂

You really brought up a good, variable point about Hancock. I agree. He is the superhero with a lot of poor soul but has the soul with the greatest ability to save the city that causes people to think that he's the blame with a cause of major damages that led him fallen.
Hancock being a drunk is more a redeeming quality then Homelander

This has been one of my favorite movies to watch growing up. I remember watching it in theaters. What makes this movie so great is that they humanized Hancock. You can be super but you’ll always have human struggles. What super hero movies don’t show is how it affects the citizens and they captured that so well in this movie. A super bodied man who’s a slave to addiction and his mind. A soon to be hero liberated from his earthly tethers. A Hawk in the sky, a symbol of strength and freedom. No longer bound to the ground beneath his feet. A Hero who brought change. HANCOCK
The Boys show is the reality of how real super powered people would do things.

I was a chauffeur in Los Angeles when they filmed the opening scene. Interstate 105 was shut down for days. My airport run to LAX had to be completely redesigned.

Hancock is a SUPER underrated superhero flick. The lore is amazing. The whole narrative that these two people that love each other simply can't be together or it will destroy them is very Casablanca. I love it. It's low key on that great tragic romance tip. It really is one of those flicks that got a lot of it's respect after it was out of theaters and people saw it on dvd. it's kinda amazing how so many people respect it today. I don't remember but i don't think it was like a summer blockbuster or anything. It's like people rented it and went "ya know it's not that bad." Then later were llike "ya know it's just fricken good."
I recall there was an issue when this movie came out that the kiss scrne between Smith and Theron was cut out because producers had issues about interracial PDA.

The hospital scene... Unbelievable. Very few scenes in a film I've watched had a scene that intense.

I think the best part about it is that they explained there was a time when there was more and not only that but there are creators who create different beings a.k.a. There's so much material that can be used for a sequel or a prequel Hell maybe even a whole franchise... I don't know maybe start a Michael B. Jordan Coast starring with Dakota Fanny and I don't kno there's plenty of younger stars who could literally do so much with it anyways let me know what you think

36:47 Yes so there’s a pretty decent fan theory that Hancock & Mary are the gods Hera and Zeus as Zeus’s main symbol was the eagle, he also was a decent drunk, Hera being the goddess of marriage, women and children which is why we find Mary being a mother to a child not hers and being a wife. As Hancock is shown to be something of a womanizing person just like Zeus and Mary being content with being a stay at home mother something Hera embodied. Also they were attacked in Athens Greece in 4th BCE which is when the Greeks were overwhelmingly a powerhouse in the world. It would also explain why there was symbolism of her dying and him dying at the same time. Everyone that wants to kill him goes through her and he’s always injured from protecting her first life like husband and wife mostly the same way Zeus will do to his wife he’s always called an a hole by current standards as Zeus was a massive A hole. Hera was also depicted a lot as a vengeful and crazy wife because of Zeus’s infidelity and illegitimate kids. A deleted scene in the movie even adds credence to John being very much a dog of a man as he tries to get active with a woman. Then there’s the storms and the popcorn popping scene when those two interact . Just like electricity and lighting. This would also explain why all the others that paired up died as the Olympian gods were 12 in total.

The people on that train are DEAD. Going from that speed to ZERO, yeah, dead. Even with seatbelts on, broken necks or backs, not buckled in, dead or at the very least seriously busted up bigtime. The conductor of the train is most certainly goo on the inside of that cabin. Now to be fair it wasn't really a commuter train, it was just lugging cars with stuff, but there had to be people on that train regardless.
Anyways, silly little rant over. Hancock is one of my favorite movies, I LOVE this movie. Will Smith is so good in this movie, especially the switch from the beginning when he doesn't give a flying shit about anyone really, to letting Ray and Mary understand his past and explain why he is the way he is (even though Mary knows why, and yeah that twist people either hated it or loved it lol) to becoming a real superhero by the end. And the whole scene at the hospital with Mary and Hancock and the bad guys attacking them with the music going, it's so well done. And the way they portrayed his powers (and Mary's) with the flying and strength etc. was terrific in my opinion. There was supposed to be a sequel, but we're still waiting on it. Hopefully we get it before the leads decide they don't want to do it anymore (they all have said they want to do it, as late as 2021 or 2022) or get to old to do it properly.

I really enjoyed the reaction. I loved the twist on the superhero trope used in this It is unique and was a pleasant surprise compared to the usual. Sad that this movie wasn't well received. The story is pretty good, the call me x or y one more time is probably my favorite thing about the you went too far warnings in any movie I have seen. Handcock was and is to this day underrated.
What probably sucks is that if the little boy grows up he’s going to probably have the same immortality his mom has and he going to have to watch his pops slowly pass and it’s only going to be them three… would be a fire sequel ngl

The problem I have with this movie is the first half is better than the second half. It felt like the writers got bored of their own premise and decided to tack on some unused script from a sci-fi romance movie and it makes the first half of the movie seem kinda pointless.
