Hello friends, Gaurav here, If you have ever noticed the prices of the products at a retail shop, other malls like Bigbazar etc and atlast Dmart are different, and among all of them, DMart has the cheapest MRP. Well, just for the spoiler, they are able to do so because of the 3 major strategies, which are setted by Radhakishan Damani, who was influenced by Sam Walton and his Walmart store. There is 1 more stratergy of d mart...what i have experienced. when some 1 goes to the store they display so much offers on each n every product that the customer would buy some extra commodities which they never planned to buy before going to the store ie: if u go to a retail shop u will buy only the things u need.. but when u enter d mart u would definitly buy some extra things by getting attracted to the offers. So u end up spending atleast 500 to 1000 bucks extra on extra things.
Exactly, this so called wife pushes her husband to DMart to purchase couple of essential worth 1000 rs., but ended up purchasing 3500Rs.
Same things with us we want to spend 500/- and ended up with 1000/- because of discounts on commodities like soap & detergent
Every one has to showcase offer.
It varies from person to person and his financial status.
Dmart supercedes all others in this.
No 1 plus 1, or buy 3 get 2,
Obviously if dmart has got something at exceptional offer, it will showcase.
Imagine 50 percent on maggie. Or 50 percemt on nivea .
In such cases customer might not need this at that point but this being so lucrative might force one to buy

*Big Bazaar was in debt and could not afford to pay off loans to lenders well in time* The condition was not good sincein 2017. In 2019 most of the store were closed due to Pandemic and sale was dropped, which further worsen the condition of the Big Bazaar in totality the condition of Future group.
Reliance would have taken it over already and they would've expanded it but Amazon is an obstacle in their path.
Now its closed

I swear by DMart. During the lockdown couldn't go to the store so I struggled to get things. Once they started home delivery things became easy. Only problem is very often things are out of stock so it's difficult to get all the things we need
I hate D-MART because of this all small shopkeepers also suffering and have to close their shops. It's lead to unemployment. I'm eye witness of this situation in jaipur.

There is one very important element that you missed is Dmart charges rent to brands if they want to setup their counters across the stores, if a chocolate company wants increase their sale and advertise their brand they give handsome rent to Dmart against which Dmart sets up shelves exclusive put their products on lower counters which has easy access to children, etc

Brands which have potential, gets a kickstart.
Brands which dont have, call it a strategical error in the qtr end meet. Trust me i have seen many of such cases. Though dmart stores do not have huge provision for such place in abundnace unlike reliance orthe late big bazar.

D mart is the best for daily grocery shopping, although they don't have good clothing but still it's affordable for weaker section of society , they have simple and easy billing system , no nautanki like other big brands .... all time favorite ..highly recommended.

(3)dmart me 3rd party pr hire hone ki wajah se koi bhi staff union bana kr apne haq ki baat nhi kr sakte ...aur agr spose aayesa wo log krte hai to dmart ka store manager sirf leader ko cabin me aane bolta hai aur bakiyo ko bolta hai ki wait kro itne saare log bolenge to mujhe samjhega nhi aur jo banda cabin me hota hai usko store manager us time to samjha kr bhej dega hai..pr us bande ko jada se jada 7 din me job se nikal diya jaata hai aur usko support krne wale ko bhi....
(4)dmart staff jada hire nhi krta hai.. aur jin brands ko wo apne yaha sell krta hai jaise..parle biscuits 'skybags'peds ye sabhi k brand promoter ko wo apne brand k alawa jabardasti apne store k kaam krwata hai spose koi brand promoter ye nhi kre to us brand promoter ko bhi ye dmart wale mall me aane nhi dete....
Aur help help ka bol bol k un brands k promoter s ko bahot jada tang kiya jaata hai...pr job jaldi milti nhi hai isliye log majburi me wo sab bhi kr lete hai...aur unlogo ko bahot jada hamali wala kaam karaya jata hai.. isliye kayi baar aap logo k brands k kapde dekhna sab ka colour fade ho chuka hota hai ya fat chuka hota hai..
