When I first discovered Magdalena Bay, I wasn't sure if I was gonna Magdalena stay, but upon letting the Magdalena play, it's safe to declare I'm 100% Magdalena cray. Their melodies and harmonies make my worries all Magdalena sway, in the meadows of their groovy tunes, I'll forever Magdalena lay!

Taking a wild guess -
At 0:45 into the video, a 22 minute timer starts. The album is called "Imaginal Disk", and Imaginal Disc is defined on Wikipedia as "one of the parts of a holometabolous insect larva that will become a portion of the outside of the adult insect during the pupal transformation." According to the track listing this is track number 4 (of 15) so if we take the average pop song length of 3-5 minutes into account the 22 minute countdown will probably end at the start of track 10 "Love Is Everywhere"...
The album will go through a "metamorphosis" of some sort which finishes at the end of that countdown, and it will be fucking sick

From rewatching the two videos, here's what I can piece together of the story so far:
The Imaginal Disk process is one that involves memory wiping (and possibly even false (imagined) memories), with the previous memories kept on one of these disks. Given the "mandatory" notices on the side, it's unknown if Mica's character (presumably named "True") chose to do this process voluntarily or not, but essentially The Doctor wipes her memory, creating a newer, lighter version of her without the burdens of her past, whether it really is "True" or not. In a weird loop, she finds a way to give the disk of her memories back to another version of herself, the blonde character, essentially putting her back "where she was before" and reminding her of the tragedy that has occurred to her (we see a spaceship blowing up, perhaps with her lover that we have previously seen escaping inside; we also see the process being conducted on her).
Where we go from here and how the time loop works we have yet to find out, but based on another commenter's mention of "imaginal disc" being a real part of insect larva transformation, and the cryptic culmination of the new website resulting in a cocoon, I think that this process has more strings attached than True originally thought!
I think blonde Mica's character name is "Ghost".
@@jpsouzaIf you check their album website. The house in Death & Romance is in there and it's called True's House. So I think Mica is True and Matt's rainbow guy is Ghost. (There's some snippet of the song in album there as well and it's rocking hard af)

This music video has got to be Peter Gabriel inspired!! Those parts with the front view of Mica and all the tools are very Sledgehammer-esque. Some of the wacky SFX also really reminds me of Steam.
the weird looking skin colored costumes remind me a little of the slipperman, which if so is a pretty deep cut as far as Peter Gabriel references.

was gonna reply to the other comment but this end up being wayy too long anyway here's what I've gathered from the 2 mvs so far & also from the Imaginary Disk site:
I think True (blue attire Mica) & Ghost (blonde Mica) might be mirrored versions of the same character. In True's bedroom we see a diary with two different pages one written by True and one by Ghost, both of their rooms also have a record player and a window looking out of the sky so i think they might exist in two parallel universes and can somehow interact with each other through a two way mirror (as seen in D&R mv).
True wrote on her page "Spend my days patiently waiting for the night to creep" and Ghost's "I'll surrender to the voices in the end" so I think this suggest that both of their fates are decided & controlled presumably by the Doctor and they're fully aware of that fact. Despite this True still finds a way to escape from the Doctor as seen here but failed, before being brainwashed by the Doctor she sends out a signal to her other self asking for help "I'm sending out a distress/So get me out of this mess" and hand her a disk or the memories of this version of herself (also through the Memory door in the Checkered Room we see Ghost standing all alone so this might indicate that she might be connected to True's memory in some way or shape).
In "The Outskirts" we see True walking down the road to "atone for her sins" and eventually entering a cocoon where it seems like she's being reborn into her purest form? If that's the case then being brainwashed is kinda like a metaphor for death as she no longer remember who she was and have no recollection of her past. That version of herself is completely dead (also the cuts before the Doctor slits her head open feels very much like life flashing before death to me).
The "aliens" in the Sky Hub are probably working for the Doctor if he's truly the mastermind behind all of this, you can see spying on his Waiting Room as well as The Field (which seems to be the gateway to both universes as this is where the 2 characters met). Their duty is probably to keep True & Ghost in checked and make sure they don't escape from the Doctor's plan which is why they tried to take Ghost's lover (the glowing figure) away from her cause it seems like he was helping her escape using his UFO which later the minions shot down causing it to explode.
There hasn't been anything relating "Town" & "D-Ejected HQ" so I feel like they might be foreshadowing future mvs. Anyway this is just my interpretation lemme know if anyone else managed to come up with something better ^^

Reminds me of the style of an old 80's music video, think Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer. Love the artistic direction, very refreshing in a day and age where the artform of the music video feels like an after thought to most mainstream pop hits.
