- Greetings and welcome to this Southwest Airlines Trip Report. Today, October 7, 2023, is the inaugural flight between Long Beach, California (LGB) and Boise, Idaho (BOI).
What is it like to be on an inaugural flight on Southwest? Apparently, in this case, it's not very different from other Southwest Airlines flights. But it is still a special event, especially if people have connections between Boise and Southern California.
There is some free swag and some singing flight attendants.
