I left the game the day they introduced the "official client" and i think just before void spirit or pit lord came out. This helped me understand several things that I've seen in games thank you!

Insanely useful! thanks. What about these "rune" spots that are on the sides of the map? I've seen some kind of tome of Knowledge rune there once.

The tome of Knowledge has been removed and replaced with these.
Looking to get back to the game after this TI ends, but damn it's an entirely new map and so many changes! Been a few years since I've watched or played dota 😅

The only negative I find is now everyone makes all types of items... Specially true for aghanims, but also items like refresher that a lot more carries are building nowadays. The game has lost a bit of a structure there and it's become a bit of a free for all. I liked that it made semantic sense in the past

Thank you for the video! im a returning player after a few years. my second game,(im still learning the new items and what had changed with them) a party of 3 were very toxic to me haha. even going as far as commenting on my profile to "kill myself because I sucked" i see the toxicity hasnt changed from years ago, lmao. but again thanks for the tips in the video! :D

If you capture both, it does not get doubled, just denies exp which the enemy would have earned every minute.
I stop playing the game around 2015, came back in 2018... doesn't understand the position thingy, got calibrated to legend from my last rank archon 3... and stop playing again cuz of school.... now I really have no clue what's going on with the game XD

Melee heroes has built in stout shields, 50% chance to block 10 or 20 dmg, I'm not sure with the numbers.

when I returned I found it to be MUCH better. Also valve just added in a feature designed to make the community less toxic, could help : )
Doesn't apply here in SEA region hahaha. Stop playing since COVID-19. Just returned, with 30 plus games in the toxicity might be less but people are never patient with anyone. Everyone expects everyone to be just as good as pro hahahah.
i dont know how to use boots of travel it just become unclickable and the hot keys just disappear after you complete
It just applies to your tp scroll now, you don't use the boots keybind like you used to, just keep a tp scroll and it will never get consumed :)

Last time I played dota was on 2019 and I finally bought my own PC and coming back like "WTF is this" it's funny how I learned how to play dota for years and until now I'm still learning how to play it 😂

A little cheeky trick for my fellow scumbags: you can determine the range of your roll by manually entering the end values, sooooo yeah.
