#hewandawe #woodworking - Jak na to + styl
here I was, laboring with a tight jaw upon awakening this morning. Stress. 18 minutes of this made my jaw drop and I feel fine now. Thank you, Doctor.
I loved reading this Paul, it also made my chuckle cause my ex used to moan about lock jaw but not from stress 😂
Having watched part 2 already, I see this becomes the project from Hell. I fully look forward to part 3, where you finally triumph in this man vs wood battle!
Not really dude, just life, we're only human... if I made the same thing every day I wouldn't make a single mistake.
@@HewAndAwe Great attitude! That's the spirit! Besides, making the same thing every day is mind-warping boredom. Again I look forward to part 3 where you triumph!
Cheers mate, hope you're having a wicked weekend!
YT seems to be liking super long-form content right now. Maybe you could try a combined long version see how it goes ;)
CZcams doesn’t seem to like me what ever I do 😏 I was thinking the same and why I made this 20 mins not 10.
Nice work as always. Looking forwards to part deux!
Maybe next weekend mate, ran out of disk space so couldn’t edit any more till I bought a bigger drive, the music version will be this weekend I’m afraid then I can get on with part 2 🤨 sorry dude!
All good things come to those who wait mate👍👍
Less than perfect dont go by You... 😉😊
I’ve gone full send on perfection as this is for myself.
Bring it on!
had to get this on the big telly in the house - the quality!
Much better eh, not many have said anything though, I watch CZcams on the tv mainly and makes a huge difference, it’s awful when someone seemed to of kept the sound in mono though!!! Hope you had a lovely weekend Isaac! 🍻😊🍻
Looking good so far, Ben. 👍
Thanks buddy! I hope you had a lovely weekend! 🍻😊🍻
Very nice
Thank you Rob! Thanks for the complement!
Great video once again..your attention to detail is outstanding..
Thank you, that’s where the devil and me hang out 😂
nice
Cheers OD 🍻😊🍻
I have been wanting to build myself a TV stand but I’m tearing my shop down and moving a thousand miles , Which is an ugly thing to do., Yours is coming along beautifully. Thanks for sharing it
Where are you moving too?
That’s beautiful Ben!! I love it!! Wish I would have watched this video before I made my table I did. Damn clamp marks drove me crazy!!
Thank you Madonna, sometimes I glue on mdf to the faces of the clamps using super glue 👍
Made my Sunday! Can't wait till part 2 to see where you take it.
Thank you Ryan, hope you had a nice weekend mate! 🍻😊🍻
thanks
You’re welcome Darin, I hope you’re well!
Looking good Benny. Elm is a beautiful timber but fuckin hell when it wants check the fucker will drive you nuts. I made a desk with it a last year which ended up being 45mm shorter in length. Just about to start on a live edge desk for myself with the same timber.
There was checks all over that board! Softly softly catchy monkey 🙈
I'm looking forward to part 2 mate, top notch as ever!
Thank you Sam! Not sure when that’ll be I’ve run out of disk space 2TB of footage so far 😂
The cut of your jig isn't all that bad so I'll stick around a while longer. Looking forward to part 2 to see how things unfold.
Cheers mate! I hope you had a lovely weekend! 🍻😊🍻
Great video once again. Loved seeing all the chisel action!
I’ve been quite lucky dialling in the power tools of late so not been much call for it 😞
Nice one Ben. Looking forward to part 2!
Cheers Graham! Not sure when that’ll be I’m afraid, lack of disk space at the moment 😬
Another breathtaking piece of work! All I can say is thank you (again) for the amazing way you took us through how you made this. Your craftsmanship is the dot on my horizon that I hope to approach one day!
Thank you Emerald, I hope you’re having a lovely week! 🍻😊🍻
Excellent vid as usual Ben. I watched this through a surround sound system and the audio really was a step up. Hope you sort out your data issues soon cos I am really looking forward to seeing the next instalment.
Me to, I still haven’t been able to edit the music version of this vid let alone start the second part. 😞
Really nice work Ben, looking forward to seeing the next stage.
Cheers Paul! I’m not sure when that’ll be mate, the joy of shooting slog 4222 10 bit it takes up a huge of disk space, I’m full at 2 TB and haven’t finished filming 🤦🏻♂️
Great stuff as always! I don't know why I get the picture of dark tapered legs at each corner. Metal even... No, that's too weird. :P
I love your sense of humour “metal” 😂 hair pin would of cracked me up 😉 jokes aside I’m not sure I’d want it off the floor cause it’ll show all the cables.
@@HewAndAwe Yeah cable management sucks. I really hate most commercially available options for it. Plastic never looks as nice. I can't wait to see part 2!
Amazing work as usual Ben. But I missed what the issue was with mitre corner.
What ever saw I used wasn’t cutting a perfect 45, I made the mistake of trusting my tools, took the best part of a day to get the smaller of the saws dialled in 😏
Do you add the bird noise in, or is that the racket they make where you are?! Perhaps they're crapping themselves because you've got your hunting camo on. Great video as always!
Yeah I did as ‘wild track’ was it too noisy?? I’ve been playing with sound, now my vids are in surround sound so finding my way at the mo.
@@HewAndAwe Not it's not too noisy at all, it's a nice noise. I was just just wondering if your mic was picking them up.
@@ChrisFranklyn I’ve always put that wild track in my vids, this time I upped my game with surround sound. Funny though any zoom calls at home peeps say the birds are chirpy your end.
Hi Ben, may I ask about that huge Festool track saw. Is it the new 60 one?
It’s the HK85 the daddy. I think if I had my time again I’d buy the ts75 not the ts55. The 55 can’t bevel a 40mm thick board 🤦🏻♂️
I’m sure your board with your board😂😂😂
I’m the chairman of that board 😆
@@HewAndAwe 😂😂🤣
Great job! Just not a fan of the fake bird sounds. Good video otherwise 😊
I use that wild track in all my vids, just this time the vid is in surround sound which boosted that sound, but gonna dial it right back like it is in the rest of my vids! 👍
@@HewAndAwe You are doing a good job mate. Just keep it real... Cheers!
