The big Binos, the Scope with the largest zoom Range (3-18 or something), the 6 Shot Literally all the most expensive things are the best, little to no reason to ever use anyhing else. From a game design perspective, this is bad progression, hopefully the next dlcs add some Nuance

Great Video, and I agree with almost everything you said, I just was hoping you would cover accuracy as well. I love the specs on the 30-06, but after I bought it and shot for awhile, I ended up learning it is the least accurate tier 5 rifle in the game.
Well, I have been wanting to do an updated version, but they have yet to come out with any new rifles...just bows. When we get more rifles, I will be sure to add a spot for accuracy!
My beef is with the starter lever action rifle. The 30-30 isn't exactly weak sauce... except for in the game it's like shooting a BB gun. Just a nothing burger. Way under powered - and it wasn't me just me that noted it, 4 other gamers I play with online all remarked the same thing. Like bruh, I come from a family of Wyoming Ranchers. My father, at 12 and 13 years old, used to take out his Winchester 30-30 to put food on the table and would consistently bring down deer and elk. So imagine our puzzlement when we stalk a Mule or White Tail and get to within 50-100 meters and hit it right in the sweet spot but... no kill. Barely any penetration and little to no blood loss. And this is consistent in my game as well as the other 4 guys I have talked to.
The numbers at the end of each entry are the force of the projectile at 50,100,150,200m. Measured by using hunter sense on the targets at the shooting range. Despite being more accurate, the Steyr Zephyr II appears to have a slower projectile than the Stinger 22. I found it easier to land a hit with the Stinger 22 on small game that move lot, like ducks.
On the xbox I can shoot tier 4/ 5 with 338, without deduction, as long as they are over 350 yds . The 338 is the most powerful and accurate of them all to me. I can even shoot a tier 1-3, without deduction, at 500 yards, and a lot of luck, with the 338. I enjoy long range hunting and also sneaking up to 80 or closer with the crossbow. Fun fun. Your information is spot on and very helpful. I either learn something from your videos or they confirm something for me, so thank you very much.

You can kill every animal with the .308 also the elk might have fast traveled with you I’ve had bighorns fast travel with me in areas where they aren’t normally found
This game is begging for a .416 Rigby for Tikamoon plains. The 338 is barely legal according to some African countries for Cape Buffalo. Most sub Saharan African countries require at least a 375 magnum for big 5 hunting.
Elk by the cabin is the teleportation glitch. What do you think of all the hunter sense shot preview red dots being nerfed? They're all the same small size now and it really ruins the challenge or the advantage of using a more accurate rifle like the monobloc.
Well, I have heard mixed reviews, mostly positive. It seems like a lot of folks did not use certain weapons due to the red dot size various (accuracy), and I do not think that it was the intention of the developers for that to happen. The weapons should all be accurate IMO and your weapon of choice should come from the amount of power that is distributed. So, overall, I am okay with the change. What it your take?

Can anyone help I can't unlock any of the callers wont allow me to buy them , Do I have to do more missions before the game will allow me to allow to buy callers. Even rifles and scopes I have the cash but the game won't allow me.

Agreed. They should overhaul skills to rifles/shotguns/bows. Especially as theres only one lever action and shotguns only apply to break actions. Leaving really only bolt actions as worth leveling from versatility

I ranked them by accuracy, ic200 means the inner red circle in hunter sense mode matches the circle in the lungs on the 200m target. + denotes tighter than target circle, oc150 means the outer red circle fits inside the circle on the target at 150m. This was created in a text file, and formatted to line up into readable columns in notepad.

So are all the rifles pretty much the same in accuracy? The massive bloom shown for the 1903, 673 and such stopped me from using them
