- Hey y'all. This video I wanted to compare all of the tier 6 weapons in the game from energy level, accuracy, to penetration and what other way to do it than actually going out and using them! Hope you enjoy.

I like the 9.3 the most, it can be a long range class 5 animal and it's a powerhouse at close range on tier 6 animals even though it's kind of weak in energy. There must be something about the penetration or expansion of it not stated in game that makes up for lack of energy compared to the 300 or 338. Hope they add more mid-big bore rifles with round nose bullets in the future, maybe even round nose 30-06 in the future
If you look at the official federal premium video about the bullets that are used they say it's a solid with a polymer tip and under this tip is a cone that transfers energy and make a huge wound channel... So yeah it's the cavity damage for me also

I've pretty much settled on the .270 for all animals tier 5 and tier 6, I like the range and penetration at long distance. I usually carry the bigger crossbow for my secondary weapon for the fun, up-close shots presented, and it will cover tiers 3 - 6.
I’ve only used the REM long range and have good luck with it but that SM12 may be the next rifle I try. It looks like the SM12 is the best of both worlds in power and accuracy.
For Africa my fav is the 9.3 and the .270 or 30-06
For translyvania.270 and 6.5 or .243
Alaska.... 300, 9.3, 270 and 308
And nez Perce .350, 6.5,243 and 300
I really hope they will add the swift A-frame for the 9.3 to make it better at longer range for stuff like elk, kudu, wildebeest and gemsbok
I love the 338, can you do a vid using the expensive shotgun?
For now I use remington 700 in 300 win mag and it work great got some elks moose and some black bear smoked out at 600 meters with this

Need help I have a problem with getting perk.when I shoot animal from hunting stand it doesn't count in perk it shows I have 14/50 made amd I shoot animals and notjong happen.Inplay on ps5 is thos a bug and I need to restart game?

Made a mistake and bought the lapua it pretty much punches a tunnel un everything and is complete overkill. Thinking of switching to the 270.
Only way I would see the Lapua as necessary in the future is if they add elephants, zebra hippos or other massive game
When i played the game for the first time, i looked at the weapons and thought: "The Steyr CL2 costs more than all others, so it must be the best one"
When i finally had enough money, i bought it and shot a goose. I still like it, but i prefer Tier 5 weapons, sometimes even for Tier 6 animals. If it can pierce to the heart, it'll be deadly.
I only bow hunt cuz it so fun calling them in close

Btw At 4:20 what you said is actually not true. All weapons of the same caliber like the two 300 win mags or two 243 or two 22 LR have identical energy power, even at range. The numbers for you were a bit different cuz the target wasn’t at the same distance and also because the wind was different.

How did you zero it to 219?
I have mine set to yards rather than meters, but other than that it's just the default zeroing number in the game.
Isn't it ironic how poorly Long Range performs on... long range? 😅
