The larger the driver, the more air it can move. Larger drivers can push lower frequencies much more efficiently. Thats why you see subwoofers as big as 18 inches.

When is an electrostatic driver paired with dynamic? That may have supposed to be balanced armature and dynamic but I'd like to know more if im wrong
