Went okay. Made money. This also shows the human factor on grading. I've watched TAG videos lately which takes a guy having a bad day out of the grading process. Could be the future especially with Their finger printing of cards on re subs.

fun fact, you can send psa 9 or lower as a review same fees though, you don’t have to crack. PSA recognizes Grading is subjective. It will also guarantee a different team of graders who will review the card for a 2nd opinion.

Come on Little Victories. What other company would you be willing to pay a 100% fee to to perform a service a second time that based off your own experiment was wrong/inconsistent 75% of the time. 12-10’s
    3-8’s
    15/20 changed grade???
Any other legitimate company would go broke almost immediately.
Can you imagine going to a restaurant and saying I sure hope they are better this time. And because you get a different cook every evening your meal is better 6 out of the next 10 times you visit. I think you probably wouldn’t frequent this establishment after such inconsistent service and quality.
I wish those in the community would hold PSA accountable for their poor business practices, this being just one of many. However ,I do understand that most flippers have way too much invested in PSA slabs so many if not all will not say anything negative in order to protect their assets.
Keep up the good work as I do enjoy your videos.

    • @littlevictoriessportscards197
      @littlevictoriessportscards197  Před 6 měsíci +1

Sorry if I wasn’t clear…all, every card grading company gets it wrong 5-10% of the time. And I still feel PSA is the most accurate out of all of them (especially modern to ultra modern). You’re referring to the 60% in my video of the percentage of them getting it wrong. But that 60% is within the small 5-10% fraction I mention above. Sports cards is how I put food on the table for my fam, and grading is a huge part of my success. If I believe PSA is no worse than any other grading company out there, and provide the most resale and value added, then why wouldn’t I go with PSA? Plus I love grading cards and using the PSA registry and pop reports for my personal collection and preferences 🙌 Thank you for the comment! I really do appreciate hearing everyone’s point of view and thoughts 👍

      Hey Little victories,
I appreciate your response. Just to be clear I was not coming after you but instead the industry and community of collectors/ Flippers that misinform our beloved community.
I am a math guy and totally understand that when YOU submit cards to PSA they come back the grade that you believe them to be 90-95% of the time. And I am sure for YOU that is a very accurate result but that is more of a reflection of your knowledge and hard work not PSA’s.
That is why PSA changing their own grades up or down 60-75% of the time is the Bigger more concerning issue.
No other reputable business in the world is allowed to do this poorly.
I also agree that all third party graders have this significant issue and that is my point. All should be put on blast especially by the communities influencers to convey that their poor business practices should not and will not be tolerated.
I know that it doesn’t seem like we as a card collecting community still have the power to fix shady behaviors and practices within our industry but if we all do our best to expose the bad apples and bad companies and their poor practices we actually have all of the power we need.
I think we just need a few big influencers to stop shilling for these bad actors in order to protect the values of their individual collections and we will all be better for it in the end.
Again, keep up the great work!
      D

@@littlevictoriessportscards197 PSA is not more accurate on flaws of a card than TAG's software and machinery. I can not wait for actual grading to be introduced on a larger scale than TAG can do. It would eliminate so much bullshit in this industry when it comes to grading, guesswork, resubmissions, and what the hell they even saw. It's insane to me PSA STILL hasn't implemented measley grader's notes. Absolutely ridiculous.

I think that Tillman card is an accurate T/B off-centered Nrmt 8. I agree with your reasoned perspective on PSA grading even though I still think they attempt to control pop counts on the very expensive & iconic cards in the hobby. Grading notes on those iconic cards is reasonable & may keep their graders “honest” & more accountable. Something simple like “imperfection on back” isn’t too much to ask

You can notice it at some angles and others you can't. I dont know what you call it but i have only noticed it on the green variety. I was curious what psa would do?

60% not bad! Not what you wanted but better than getting under 50%. I would like the same thing if PSA could just put notes on the submission forms why the card got the grade if it wasn't a 10. That way for example, if it was dirty surface stuff then I probably clean it right and could resubmit. But then again if they say it was a dent that you know wasn't there and they did it, they probably don't want to go down that rabbit hole. Thanks again for sharing as always!
