- Different types of Players demonstrated in BeamNG Drive. The wheel used in this gameplay is Thrustmaster T300. Personally I am the drifter type myself although Off-roading is a big thing in BeamNG and quite fun. Let me know what type of a player you are.

Also Goose, not many people even noticed this but the more modern the car the safer it is in crashing if you took the 200bx or the covet and did an overlap crash with the bastion or any new car you'd noticed the new car will do a better job at protecting the driver and passengers.

When I made a rally build I unintentionally made an really smooth keyboard drift car.
The high suspension along with the toe angles and weird suspension settings essencially forced the car to keep this smooth drifting arc until you counter steered. Really fun to rally around hitting jumps and drifting into a corner :D
Is there a way to send configurations to others? Sort of like a configuration repository?
Every rally car drifts well on road🤣 like the prasu original rally and also the diesel scintilla

Rally cars are just hella good at sliding. With AWD I can pull a controllable slide at 120mph in 5th gear on tarmac. Handbrake makes sliding super controllable.
Beam as a game actually runs surprisingly decently on potato pcs if you have a decent processor, I used to run it 45fps on medium settings with a computer with integrated graphics and an i7-7700. But now we playing with a amd 5900x and 3070 so we chillin
That’s true. I run the game on an i3 1005g1 with integrated graphics.
Its only a dual core cpu, so it’s impressive that I get 30 fps in almost every map
As a test, I ran BeamMP, the multiplayer mod, on a Socket 939 Opteron 165 @ 2.70GHz (Athlon64 x2 basically). I had 8GB RAM, and a HD5770. It was rough, bottomed out graphics and low FPS. But honestly, I still had fun for like 4 hours. It's not my main rig, I was just playing around with old gear. But yeah, if you have at least any quad core, 8GB RAM, and any halfway capable DX11 GPU (HD5770 or more powerful), the game plays fine so long as you know your PC's limitations. :) Dual cores (ESPECIALLY older ones like I tried).....yeah I wouldn't unless you absolutely had to or wanted to for fun.

Yeah it runs in 60fps in my pc and it's kinda potato pc- friendly too cuz i had a very bad pc but in lowest graphic it was coming 15-16 fps in the grid map so yeah....

I would be down for a BeamMp session, since I recently got a g29 as well, wished that mdker for a long time and finally became reality and all I can say, damn Beam is so enjoyable now, specially on Off-road
1:48 Because with the right tires and front to rear ratio, you can build a car that can handle offroad paths and powersliding through the city, like my 683hp twin turbo straight six Gavril D15. I love that thing! Sounds like A Skyline, looks like a truck and handles like a... uh... quite heavy rally car!

AWD is more snappy and less likely to spin you out, however, RWD is easier to get sideways. FWD is wierd but more turn snappy and agile hence earning the name tuner
I like that you're getting into beamng more! its a lot of fun when u actually start to understand how to tune and build cars that are better for drifting and what mods to use.
btw, the jbx100 mod requires another mod to be downloaded called "dtroxx wheel pack," otherwise the wheels on the car will be the default steelies.

5:30 This is literally me. My normal laptop is so broken it won’t even power on if I even TRIED TO turn the game on, so I use my father’s laptop that has 8GB of total RAM, which is the minimum for beamng, and it started overheating and I got warnings and a ton of stuff you won’t wanna even hear about.

You need to try out "Automation - The Car Company Tycoon Game", make your own car there, and then export it to BeamNG and test the drifting capabilities there

When i want to race i usually race fwd and awd but when i drift i use the 200bx mod with like 90 degrees of angle
