- Big CarX updates brings us user interface changes such as sorting cars by manufacturers and adding cars to your favorites list. In addition we have VR headset support and optimization of the game. I invited over the fans and we had a drift session with a full server. The car I was drifting with was R34 on ultimate tune.

Actually, not a bad idea to get modders to make maps. I don't know much about making maps or game but I think they would need to make them unofficial maps though.
@@RickM-ce3yz there is quite a few already actually, i have tried creating my own. Is it hard? no, you need to know some basic 3d stuff. Is it hard to make good quality maps? reeeallly hard lol

i completely agree, the Devs don’t seem to be that proactive when it comes to developing new maps and cars… so just give the community the tools to do it ourselves. then they can sit back and collect money like they already intend to do

@@ofehs6759 technically it is, besides assetto, but if you don’t have the pc to run it and the modded servers then car x and forza is all you got. And forza got boring.

Good for you for upgrading for DD wheel. I'm going for Moza R9 straight from logitech wheel, so we'll see how big of a difference it will be

i have a feeling you're going to be a drooling mess from how fucking good it's gonna be lol. just losing that grinding gears is a delight! I didn't go DD, but the leap in performance from g29 to my current setup has got me anticipating that upgrade in a couple years when thrustmaster gets their DD wheelbase a little more fleshed out for use with consoles as well.
I've legitimately grown muscle mass with the extra 4ish NM of peak torque over that g29.

I went from g27 (used for 10 years), to r9 and it is huge difference.

It would really cool if we had new drift maps i prefer tracks but a city or town would be fine too.
CarX Developer right now is focusing on developing the game of "CarX Street" which is a great game and a completely different and massive map, its basically new map. For them it maybe hard so it make sense. Especially they are focusing on the optimization for Android phone.
Car x needs a mod hub so people even on console can download mods because car x needs those mods to grow.

I got mine but my monitor doesn’t support vr witch it sucks cs I got those old monitor set up from Walmart the cheap one, thinking of upgrading so I can experience this vr

I would definitely love to see some more maps. The same ones are for sure getting old. I see so many people complain. Even me. It gets old really quick. For sure some more tracks that have some flow. But I would also like to see some more comp inspired maps.
For the wheel. I use g27, I could definitely see some more direct support for them as it feels more arcade. I know the game is mainly from the phone but when it comes to the pc you would expect these things to be covered. Something that should have been done right away on the initial release for pc.
Hope to see great things come from the developers. I still have faith.
