Too many times I’ve seen shops do some shady crap just to get you back in the shop to make more money. If they know you’re watching then they are far less likely to try something. Even if you don’t know jack about cars, they don’t know that.
She was their 2 & literally seen her car get stolen from the waiting room, unless u finna chase them down waiting their won't change much 😅
I normally wait 2 but I honestly don't know how'd I react, cause alot times I also get picked up & return when my vehicle is ready (if I have a free ride not wasting cash on uber/lyf)
My scat was stolen by employee at the dealership then taken to the Martinsville nascar speedway. Uconnect saved my ass. I pulled up the dudes house in the next town and took my shit back. Dealership was trash they let him keep job and cops took case to D.A. but they wouldn’t prosecute. Dealership offered me free oil changes for life but that taught me to never ever take it back to the dealership after purchase.
How u take it bak? Was the keys changed? Did u confront him when getting it back?
@@MaCAttaK I banged on his door his wife came to the door acting stupid like she didn’t know her husband drove my car home. He came to the door head down and shook gave up keys kept apologizing. He lied to me already because I made a joke about them stealing them he assured me it would be locked in the bay.

The crazy thing is no one gave af or even knew what a Hellcat was back in 2015, before rappers started rapping about them. Now all of a sudden, you can look away from your car for 2 seconds without it getting stolen lmao.
This so crazy. A month ago I put my Daytona in service at my local dealership to get a 4 wheel alignment. The night I dropped it off, the head service manager call all reps to the floor saying that a hellcat was stolen the night prior to lock all Chargers and challengers be hind the security fences. I go back 2 days later to pick my car up, someone went in lifted my center gear shift and try to unscrew my destroyer 1320 neutral strap cover damaging one of the screws and left it on the floor.
That’s wild!

Reasons why I’m slowly not wanting a hellcat or scat anymore my RT is good enough for me even good enough for some car content i make. I’m maybe planning on getting another muscle car outside of dodge now just because of MOPAR theft. I even worry about my rt sometimes 😂 great video keep being great 🙏🏽 also it seems like a set up by workers no way a car is easily stolen from dealer while they are open

This is wild! I get my oil changed at the dealership, it's lifetime inspections and free oil changes (but they charge for changing the air filter) which I found out the hard way. I'm pretty sure they just leave the keys in the car when it goes to the back for service. As far as your car getting jacked while at the dealership, not too much comes to mind when thinking about it getting stolen from a dealership, besides CarLock. Steal my shit, Hellcat here I come!

Make them sign for the keys so that they can keep better track or electronically sign them in and out only with approved personel. Valet your car...put it in valet, give them the xtra key that gives it limited speed ect
And they can’t get nothing but a joyriding charge when they do get caught because the key was left in it so which is just a misdemeanor so justice want be served

That's exactly what happened to my cat. Stolen at the dealership. My uneducated self dropped it off early in the the afternoon instead of just waiting for it. They said it should be done by the end of the day. End of the day, the said sorry we got backed up, your 1st in line tomorrow morning. By morning it was gone. Funny enough, the dealership scats and cats that were also parked outside were not touched. Only mine.
i go to the service bay with my redeye they let me inspect the underside while work is being done every time, i could do it myself but like you said if they mess it up it’s covered also i hate having to recycle the used oil it’s time consuming as hell for such a small amount

Dealer is responsible for your car once you hand them the keys to work on it. PERIOD. Dealer would be getting me a new car. My lawyer would see to that.

If your car gets stolen at a dealership. That's the best scenario , or get hit by a cop. You getting paid. Unless you got an engine swap , and you don't have it on your insurance.
Anytime we take our car to the dealership for routine maintenance its always very busy there and the service managers always looked stressed and preoccupied. It will take them sometimee all day long to get to our car so we just drop it off there. Sometimes there will be vehicles in the service bay running but nobody in them. I always thought that would be an easy place to steal a car if someone wanted to

Ya you just got to take time off to constantly stay with your vehicle and ask for credentials from and dealer employees who’s trying to get in and also stay with your vehicle until it’s time for the dealer employee to take to the service bay or just perform the oil change yourself and be done with it !
