Great video! Two weeks of over 70% completion is an improvement no matter how you slice it. Very promising moving forward. The play calling in Denver didn't really favor him throwing much, especially in the Red Zone and he had some mistakes but overall he's on the upswing for sure.
I still think the playcalling was favoring trying to flesh out if Breece Hall still needed a pitch count. More conservative game against the worst D in the league to test the waters a bit.

Cause the the defenses are expecting Jets will try and pick up the 1st down with a run play. That's an opportunity to cross up the defense and take a shot downfield. And even if that play isn't successful. You plant the seeds to make a defense be less sure and more guessing on what Jets play call will be for whenever it's 2nd and a short 2-3 yards to go. That's the next plateau I'm hoping to see vs the Eagles. You gotta unleash the Kraken and end the embarrassment against a team Jets have never beaten. Cmon man!

Two drives were immediately killed by offsides, and one other by an unnecessary holding penalty away from the main action. If not for that we would have started with 2 early touchdowns and then the blowout would have occurred. That's why Sunday at home against the Eagles will be a win (provided we play aggressively on Offense with first-down passing). On defense - We need to use Quincy, JJ, or Will McDonald ala Micah Parsons, and have one of them blitz up the middle or around the edge randomly, don't just rush 4 all day and let the Eagles know what you are doing. There was another pass against Denver, where Conklin was wide open over the middle and heading into the endzone, but Zach was looking to the left to feed Garrett and the pass to Garrett was contested and incomplete. Hopefully, he doesn't feel he has to target Garrett as even if he is your best WR, somebody that is wide-open should always get the ball. One other recent problem with Zach, which may at least be partially his fault, is that he has had several key passes tipped and balls then fell incomplete, all of which were either TD or first downs. He needs a little better OL protection, but he also needs to be sure he has an open passing lane before throwing those balls. It is very important that we don't plan to win the remaining games with minimal passing as Rob "Please No Hero Ball" Saleh would like. We need to take the good with the bad and open up the passing attack so that Zach is responsible for the wins, Breece will still get 100+ yards per game, but we can't kill the team with the conservative plan we used against the Pats. Then we will be more than ready to advance in the playoffs. Personally, I think that Aaron Rodgers sitting in the owner's box for the KC game gave Hackett the power to call his own game instead of Saleh's run on every first down game plan. PS - Hope the new job is working out, and if they didn't hire you, then it's a stupid company and you are better off without them.
He has absolutely improved with his footwork and calmness hanging in the pocket. He still holds on to the ball to long. If he gets better with that I think he will a good QB.
I dont know of any other player who for 24 and 1/2 games looked like one of the worst players ever drafted, to looking like the 2nd Coming. Walsh said you have to give a QB 25 games to know if they can play. I've been a huge Zach hater but am blown away by how good he has been. Let's hope he keeps this up.

The throw inbounds was fine. They had 11 seconds left when completed. Offense needs to snap that football. Operation was wrong not the decision. RZ issues were playcalling. Can’t go run run pass and not make any yards.
Nice analysis! For the Jets to snap their lifetime losing streak against the Eagles, it will take a near perfect game from Zach. The Jets defense needs to keep the Eagles from running up the score. The Jets run game needs to win the time of possession battle. But neither of those will matter if Zach is not aggressive and making quick decisions. They can't afford to get behind early.

Zach is not playing in 2024 barring lightning striking twice with another season ending injury to Rodgers. 2024 will be Zach's year to pick Rodgers brain and soak it all in. With that in mind it would seem obvious the best strategy for Zach would be to lock in his present salary and tell Joe D and Woody "I will take my pay in training" while seeking 1 Year extensions until Aaron Rodgers decides to hang it up. Zach should know that while such a strategy may cost him money in the short term the tutoring he receives from Aaron Rodgers will pay dividends down the road.

If he had taken what the safety gave him, he would've went to Ruckert for a much easier TD. I don't get that logic. The safety was clearly drifting, It was an amazing throw, not a good decision. Hackett had a good game plan against the Broncos as well. They threw over half of the time on 1st downs In that game, no? Zach has shown improvement but the excuses are silly.
The throw itself was easy as far as nfl throws go ig but he sees the coverage changes the play at the line then goes through his progressions fast accross the field then the easy throw
